I think Verity did it, because if even Jeremy *her own husband* thought she did it and KILLED her then no ending letter can convince me she didn't. Why would she need to worry about a cover letter when she didn't do it?!
She wrote an autobiography where both of her kids were killed by her when she was around and no one else. That's mega suspicious. SHE WROTE IT DOWN. SHE DOCUMENTED IT! She had the audacity to say it was a way to deal with the grief. No f way.
What do you guys think? Try to convince me otherwise 😁

I thought the same thing. She did it. She was a sociopath & no letter explaining her innocence would be believable. I think that author just wanted a twist at the end & Verity being a sociopath was all an illusion was her way of doing it. I can't believe the praise that has been heaped upon this book
I think Verity's parents alluded to her being a psychopath.

I mean we do learn everything from the people and environment we are brought up in so that makes perfect sense.

It is so hard to consider, because the only description and dialogue we have from her is the supposed fictional manuscript and the letter at the end. I was satisfied with the ending, but then that twist! I think her not doing it creates a bunch more twisty elements, especially with Jeremy. I think he was just as messed up as her. Or maybe it was from just being married to her. I mean, they met at a charity party, right? Neither of them was supposed to be there right? They both snuck into someone else's limo to make out. None of that is normal adult behavior.
