This is probably a later reprint though, as ISBNs weren't around until the late 60's. Is a printing date or edition number mentioned in the book?
Thank you for your reply! 1) When a few days went by without a reply, I saw that I could create an alternate edition myself, and upload a cover with it. So I made this: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...
I tried to be as accurate as possible, but it certainly might be able
to use further editing.
2) That is a good point about ISBNs. There is no publishing date
that I can find in the book, only a copyright date.
Here is transcription of title page:
A / Book of Good Poems / Selected and Annotated / by / C. T. FYFE / THE COPP CLARK PUBLISHING COMPANY / VANCOUVER TORONTO MONTREAL
and its verso:
Copyright, 1959 / The Copp Clark / Publishing Co. / Limited / [1240] / ISBN 0-7730-3015-8
I've tried searching a couple of Canadian library catalogs, which resulted in records for this title, but with no further information. Search by that ISBN does not seem to give me results anywhere.
Dear Goodreads Librarians. Hello. Will you please find some time to add the cover for the book "Pretend It's My Body" by Luke Dani Blue? Thank you so so much in advance. Here's the link:https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

A google search turns the title up in assorted references along the lines of "the book my parent used in high school lit class."
I have a few questions:
1) The copy I have is soft-cover, 577 numbered pages, with ISBN 0-7730-3015-8 and copyright date 1959. It is clearly the same book. I would guess likely an edition specifically prepared for distribution in high schools. Should I go ahead and "Add a new edition"?
2) I have made a high-resolution scan of the cover of my copy. It does have some imperfections where the cover was folded at the corners. Is this ok to use?
