Kim eludes Leanne, knowing she needed to allow Symes to capture her in order to save the two abducted girls. Given the aftermath, did she do the right thing? Was there any way they would have found this man?

Kim didn't have a choice. Symes was too smart to fall for a Kim double or a sting. Kim was ready to die for those girls even knowing that Symes would be brutal. She knew there wasn't any other way except to trust her team to get to the girls while Symes focused on killing Kim.

I agree, Sharon. She didn’t have a lot of options to save those girls. It was incredibly selfless. Plus, she knew Leanne had placed a tracker on that phone.

This was typical Kim. She's gone off script a few times to save people so it is completely in character. Kim would have felt she had no other choice, she's just lucky it all turned out the way it did and Leanne was a few steps ahead of her with the tracker in the boot heal.
