Kim is assigned trained protection officer Leanne King who will be at her side until Symes is caught. Did you remember her from the earlier story? Was she well suited or not to be paired with Kim? How impactful were the decisions she made to the safety of the team and Kim in the long run?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I remembered Leanne. I thought that she was perfect for Kim, because Kim wouldn't be able to talk her into looking the other way.
She made the right decisions for the group to keep them safe.

I remembered her vividly! Yep, I agree that she was perfect for Kim who would have bulldozered most everyone else. The direction she gave certainly saved Stacey’s life and the Barney the dog!

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) I remembered Leanne but not all the details of the book she was in. She worked outside the box just like Kim and Kim wouldn't be able to put one over her. Seems she was spot on with directions about Symes. So even though Kim doesn't like it, it was the correct call to bring her in.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments What I remember most about Leanne was that Kim thought she was a traitor to law enforcement because she kept so many details about the WitSec people under her care secret. Her secrets hurt Kim's investigation.

I recalled that, too. After this assignment, I got a better sense of why she does the things she does. She’s singularly focused on her subject.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments I agree Jonetta.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I agree with all of you on this one. Having someone Kim has an extreme dislike for created all kinds of drama and humor.
