Apparently Elbow has another nickname - Airbus, because of his penchant for taking private jets everywhere. Probably to conferences on the climate emergency."
They're rigged.

No choice left.

Disclaimer: I haven’t brokered a sponsorship from Nemiroff or Moet Chandon’s yet , but if the movement gains momentum we’ll offer Bezos a share

And who is 112? Do we now have anonymous posters who can say whatever they want without taking personal responsibility? I'm opposed to that.

Thanks Nik, I was responding to J who has a post further back in this thread. But in future I'll find those threads. =)

I havent found that article url yet, despite my searching my news aggregator and google. It does exist however. *will keep trying*

While we wait for Adrian.. I decided to google this question and here are the some links amongst the top of the results, about what the Biden team has accomplished. There are some lovely to look at charts and graphs too. =) Admittedly I don't think they show a comparison with Trump in these.. but I'm sure I could try and find out what he did actually manage, it'd be a short list. :D
Not sure it is on any of these, but I will say I was surprised and pleased to hear about the recent development for the people of Wisconsin after the 10 billion Trump (golden shovel)/Foxconn failure.

On top of that, Bill Maher has pointed out that Stormy Daniel's testimony is not consistent with an interview which she gave on his show in 2018.

This will be a horse race and the poles will tighten up.

Cohen will not hurt Trump in the end. Wait till cross examination. BTW, never follow CNN or MSNBC due to the overly bias anti-Trump reporting.

Ian, over the past two years (due to new ownership) CNN has become Fox lite. I don't know what they are reporting now, but I found their reporting to be irregular and with deep bias. Don't watch them anymore as a result. MSNBC has a bias too. Most American media do.. it needs to change.
Papaphilly is on the ground in New York. He has no axe to grind, no vested interests and appears as the least partisan of all the US group members. His views are more interesting than any well-known, but inherently biased, publications like the NYT or Guardian.
If Papaphilly says Cohen won't hurt Trump, I believe him. Insights like these are what makes WWW a great group, and is why important political figures read these posts.

It looks like that is all the WH/DOJ/DNC/Judge will get.

That right. The popcorn and moonshine events of our lives have been scheduled.
Biden and Trump, trading barbs, agree to 2 presidential debates, in June and September

I'm putting in for PTO on Friday, June the 28th for I shall be hungover beyond any hope of functioning. Maybe I'll wake up in the plot of a raunchy nineties comedy.🤞

Exciting news about the debates. I hope the participants will be drug tested beforehand.
Shame RFK Jr hasn't been invited as he would comfortably beat either of them in any type of debate.
Of the other 2, all Trump needs to do is wind his neck in, avoid any grandstanding, and he will take Biden to the cleaners. Tbh, if he can't manage to do that, he won't deserve a second presidency.

Why do you think I do? It might be better to say that I do not (and never have) thought Trump was good for the country.
To be transparent I have never liked him (Trump), long long before he waded into politics.

I am no Trump fan, but my dislike for Biden goes back to the 1980's. This is a holding election until 2028.

Can the US afford to be in a holding pattern given the crises in the world, and two contenders for the Presidency who could lead to almost any unforeseeable outcome?

This is an unintended consequence. No matter who wins this election, one half of the country is going to lose their minds. It will not be until 2028 that we get new leadership.

For me it goes back to his stances on bussing and school integration. Just not a fan of his policy at the time. The final kicker was his treatment of Justice Thomas during the hearings of 1990. He handled it badly and was less than dignified with a truly eminent jurist. One does not have to like Thomas's rulings or thinking, but he is a dignified man and brilliant. What Biden did was treat him disrespectfully for no other reason than he was the wrong black man nominated. I was appalled at the time and absolutely dumbfounded the Senate would do so and call him a liar. I consider him a truly bad President and history will not be good to his time served.

Childish response for such a sophisticated group. You can't get away with that here. Answer the question with specific reasons if you want to be taken seriously.

A UK election has been called for July 4. Here’s what to know

Is it possible that the latest monarch has pushed our British cousins that far?🤔

My guess is the answer is Steve McClaren. Like Rishi, the former England football manager came in for a lot of stick from the tabloid press. It was raining during his final game (a defeat), and he used a brolly. The famous tabloid headline the next day read...
The Wally with the Brolly
Not sure why Rishi didn't hold the press conference indoors though :)

It seems odd that y'all would disparage someone for using an umbrella. In America, we are under the impression that the official uniform of British upper middle class is a suit with an unflattering cut, a bowler, and an umbrella. Rolls Royce and Bentley still have umbrellas that are stored inside their car doors.

Nobody would disparage someone for using a brolly, J, but the moment I saw Rishi getting rained on I KNEW his PR team remembered the McClaren headline and wanted to avoid a repeat.
Still don't know why he didn't hold it indoors though. It was probably some cryptic message that we have stormy times ahead.
Now, back on topic, come on Donald and Robert! Shut down the Deep State and get that evil, old fuddy duddy out of the White House!

Btw, only the Italians wear better cut suits than the English (our current PM is not an accurate representation of this).

That's definitely true of a certain moustache. But I honestly think that without the suit Himmler's weak jawed, spindly limbed, paunch would have regularly experienced whatever the Teutonic version of a wedgie is.

The best choice was Noem. Then she torpedoed herself. What's left is a pool of about five candidates who each have a different serious vulnerability.

Believe it or not, I think he takes a serious player. om Cotton seems to be floating around and I would not be surprised it is him. He needs more of an adult and center-right.

As I said he was a nut job.
