Papaphilly, I was convinced you were going to link to Europe's The Final Countdown. You proved me wrong :)

Nice, eclectic mix, J. And very fitting.

Bearing in mind the 'Unifier's' intentions for The Union, and the possible end result, how about this?

J. Gowin | 7977 comments Uncle Joe is making it worse.

Do you remember how the lefties got bent out of shape about Biden calling Laken Riley's murderer an "illegal" during the SOTU? Well...
https://youtu.be/VqB3QEwGl0I?si=bdzn8...

That's right, he apologized for calling that murdering piece of filth an "illegal". And he said that he should have said, "undocumented".

Joe, you senile hypocrite, the murderer wasn't undocumented. The Border Patrol documented him when they caught him illegally sneaking into the country. Then, under YOUR POLICIES they released him into the USA. An innocent woman is dead from your policies.

Really interesting article about the possibility of a contingent election, and how this scenario could easily see RFK Jr become President:

Nik recently accused me of lamenting Britain's decline. I don't lament it at all. I'm too aware of history and the 'bigger picture' to think any country has a God-given right to spend all its days in the sun.

What I object to right now - what really riles me - isn't Britain's or the West's decline, it's the collective Western establishment's endless lying, and their beyond banal attempts to pretend their narrative is anything but a continuous stream of lies. It's like watching a slow-motion car crash, a descent into madness, and the suicide of a civilisation all rolled into one.

When will it all end lol?

We've had this for over 4 years now, on every topic under the sun. Mike and Graeme's expose on the media establishment deliberately misrepresenting Trump is the latest, albeit relatively minor, example.

Sure, politicians, journalists - in fact most people - have always lied to advance their own cause and discredit opponents, but has their ever - EVER - been a ruling class so transparently sh*t at doing it as the one we have now?

message 1071: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8071 comments Nik, I looked at what you posted in 1082. Here's what Trump said, “Now if I don’t get elected, it’s going to be a bloodbath for the whole — that’s gonna be the least of it,” he added. “It’s going to be a bloodbath for the country. That will be the least of it. But they’re not going to sell those cars. They’re building massive factories.”

He's obviously talking about China building cars - not calling for a bloodbath if he doesn't win. Not the first or last time his words will be taken out of context. Do you see this, Nik?

I heard that part of Trump's speech. He doesn't call for a bloodbath. It's a choice of words, which sounds unfortunate and instills fear.
It's gonna be a regular, once in 5 years election, and whoever wins shouldn't result in bloodbath.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8071 comments Do you think Trump is being treated unfairly by having to put up a cash bond for $454 million in a case where no one is the victim? And more importantly in a case that's under appeal and may be reversed? Should he be forced to sell off real estate at low prices when the case is under appeal? Does it seem that the judicial system is being used to attack him, and is this a role the judicial system should be playing, used as a political tool?

I am not a Trump fan and have said this plenty of times. However, this is just wrong. This is not about justice, but about getting him.The fine is set so he cannot get it and that will ruin hm. I am betting he overturns this and if they take his buildings, he will not get them back. The "victims" never lost money and they ALL wanted to work with him again.

More importantly, this will hurt NY state plenty. It will drive business out because NY is telling them they can come and take their property too.

message 1088: by Graeme (new)

Graeme Rodaughan Graeme wrote: "No property rights, except for those who are powerful..."

Further to this.

In a neo-fascist monopoly capitalist system, property ownership naturally concentrates at the top of society (monopoly), while everyone else becomes a 'renter.'

It's why the WEF went with, "You'll own nothing and be happy," rather than "We'll own nothing and be happy."

"You'll" implying the rich & powerful will own everything - Monopoly Capitalism = WEF.

vs

"We'll," implying all property rights will be extinguished - Marxism = Almost no one.

This goes to my thesis that Westen Civilization (post the collapse of the Soviet Union) used its unipolar moment of hegemonic supremacy to shift from a society with regular old capitalism with latent fascist/monopoly characteristics to turbocharged Monopoly Capitalism.

With global hegemony in place, the old nationalist fascism evolved into globalist neo-fascism marked by corporate co-option of the machinery of the state sold to the public as virtuous 'public-private partnerships,' on a global scale.

Once again, here is the assimilation of other ideologies/isms by Monopoly Capitalism: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_C9Jb...

The current war against property rights is only applicable to the poor, and those who are not 'inside the WEF club.'

Unless we are all being massively gas-lit with Trump (Covid Vaccine Champion) as controlled opposition then Trump is currently standing in the way of open neo-fascist monopoly capitalist rule of western civilization (this entails the destruction of the US constitution and Bill of Rights).

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8071 comments :-) The guy makes sense. The thing is that Trump haters are on the bandwagon with using "lawfare" against Trump. They just want to win.

Did you guys see that Obama and Clinton attended a fundraiser for Biden? The Democrats are all in on Biden. What are they saying behind closed doors? I'll bet it's something like let's just get a Democrat in there to keep control of the government. So what if Kamala ends up being president? We'll still run the government behind the scenes like we do with incompetent Biden. She'll do whatever we say because she's incompetent, too.

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 8071 comments Two takeaways from seeing Biden and Obama on stage together: First, Biden's feebleness is even more obvious when he stands next to Obama. Second, we see who's going to run the government if Biden's elected - and it's not Biden.

And is it a good idea to buddy up with sleazy Slick Willy, Epstein's buddy? Even Democrats must see him for what he is.

Finally, pulling out the big guns this early in the game smells of desperation. And enlisting the support of movie star millionaires when you claim to have sympathy for the working class doesn't play well with the working class.

They raised a lot of money. Will money win this election for Biden?

J. Gowin | 7977 comments In the USA, new voters can register to vote using their Social Security Numbers, provided that they do not possess valid driver's licenses. Specific information about requests is confidential. But the aggregate data is public information which is available on the SSA website and updated weekly. Below is the data for latest week, at time of this post.
https://www.ssa.gov/open/havv/havv-we...

Most of the data is banal. However, when we scan the columns, we find that certain states (like Texas, Pennsylvania , and Missouri) are having large flushes of requests. Simultaneously, we see insanely large numbers of requests from SSNs which have been recorded as deceased. (>23,000 deceased in Missouri?)

Is someone trying to pack registration rolls ahead of an election with an incredibly unpopular incumbent?
