I have read first 4 chapters and from the start I am liking the novel it is interesting.The another thing that I liked is, it is from the perspective of the doctor who lives in the town and involved in the story.
And it is the book in which we already get to know who is gonna die from the start xD
What are your guesses on who killed the Roger Ackroyd at this point?

I think it is Mrs Ackroyd maybe?Butler doesn't have any motive at least until now.

We yet don't know who that stranger was.
The murderer must be someone from the house as Doctor got call from there. Heyyy! murderer must be male as it was a male voice that called Doctor and it wouldn't be Butler cause he wont murder and call the doctor on his own
I have read till chapter 8!There is a lot of information that was uncovered in these chapter but nothing of any direct relevance to the murderer.
At one point, I even wondered if the doctor himself is the killer but that doesn't seem the case.
I can't think of anyone as a murderer yet!
Let me know if the last thing revealed in the chapter connects any dot to you!
I have read till chapter 12!Things are still vague.
There could be a lot of suspensions but can't say anything for sure.
I'm also wondering if find out that Ralph is actually dead!
I am behind schedule, I am attending a wedding today and a birthday party tomorrow, I will try to catch up on Saturday/Sunday!
No issues let's postpone the current schedule by 1-2 days then cause I have also traveled to another city and I don't know if I can read tomorrow and day after

I am done reading the book!Didn't I tell you that I am wondering if Doctor might be the killer.
But one thing I always struggled was what might be his motive. It never occurred to me that he might be the one who blackmailed Mrs Ferras. All through I always wondered why Doctor is given special treatment and kept away from all the suspicion so I always wondered if he might be the one.
The book was good!
You were right then about the doctor. I am always wrong when it comes to guessing the killer. But I’ve noticed that the killer barely gets discussed in mystery books, but other suspects will be discussed a lot to keep you off track and have you guessing the wrong person
This is the first time I am right.otherwise I never guess the killer. But I feel that's the point of the mystery novels. If you can't guess the killer it's a good book.
