AnderWer | 2 comments Good day.

Teresa Pàmies has written "Testament a Praga" and "Praga", two books which are different. However, "Praga"'s ISBN is already being used as if it were an alternative edition of "Testament a Praga" (which it is not). The ISBN is 8423315487.
I added today "Praga" to the database, but I couldn't use the appropiate ISBN, since it was already being used (wrongly).

Thanks.

Liza (lizao) | 12 comments Yes, I see the problem.

I've separated out the three "Praga" editions from "Testament a Praga".

Two of the editions are clearly "Praga", so I combined them into a single work: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6...

The challenge is the third one, which you linked to. It has the title "Praga" and the ISBNs for "Praga", but the cover is "Testament a Praga" and the reviewers sound like they were talking about "Testament" (at least the ones I ran through google translate).

It's entirely possible that half the reviewers thought they were tagging "Praga" and the other half thought they were tagging "Testament", and I don't think there's a perfect solution.

All else being equal, I'm trusting the cover art. Therefore, the right thing to do is rename that edition to "Testament a Praga", remove the ISBNs, and recombine it with the main "Testament" work.

The changes should take effect within 15 minutes. I added the ISBN to the edition you just added. It looks like the ISBN13 (9788423315482) is also for "Praga", but I can't quickly determine if they're the same edition or different editions.

AnderWer | 2 comments Thanks! :)

Just a small thing now. I wrote in "Praga" 's bio this: <>

Now that the ISBN issue is solved I think it should be removed, since it's not the book's bio haha

Liza (lizao) | 12 comments do you have a better source for a description of Praga? I'd love to not leave it blank. :)
