June 2022: There's No Such Thing as an Easy Job

just finished reading this one, a bit late but better then never I hope!

1. My expectations were that it was going to be meditative and potentially a bit boring but I was really enjoyed it.
2. I understand how burnout would lead her down this path, sometimes the idea of disregarding a job that requires a lot of investment for a seemingly easy one does sound tempting, I don't think I could do it though!
3. I found it got more satisfying to read as it went on.
4. I liked the ending, I think I saw it heading in this direction for her. I think if she had other interests it would have been fulfilling for her to decide to chase those instead, but returning to work for her seemed right.
5. Before my current long term job, I used to work in random shops and I think one of my previous workplaces was haunted! lol

lol just a very bad vibe about the whole building! It's now been renovated into a bank though which feels less scary XD
