Schedule for Discussions - Hamlet

This is our planned reading and discussion schedule for William Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet.

We will discuss Hamlet for the two weeks (March 2 – 15) preceding our read/reread of David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest. The play contains five acts, and so there will be one discussion for each of the acts. The discussion for Act V will also include discussion of the play as a whole. If possible, try to read the first three acts in the first week and the remainder of the play in the second week.


Week of March 2nd:

Discussion One – Act I

Discussion Two – Act II

Discussion Three – Act III


Week of March 9th:

Discussion Four – Act IV

Discussion Five – Act V and the Play as a whole
