Has your reading been impacted in any way by supply chain issues?

LindaJ^ (lindajs) | 2548 comments No. While regular mail delivery is hit or miss, it seems the books shipped internationally are arriving as quickly (or slowly) as usual. I am ordering more books directly from the publisher than ever before and they arrive within acceptable time frames. Shipments from the UK and Europe are arriving withing two weeks of ordering.

Franky | 203 comments Not too much so far. I agree with Linda. I have some books that arrive the usual quick or slow pace given on their proximity.

Jennifer | 121 comments I think books are available for the most part...but the issue more could be the shortage of paper, or at least there was a shortage of paper.

The article is about ballots for elections but I have also read it is going to effect books as well. For someone who does not have /want an e reader this is stressful

Marcus Hobson | 88 comments My impacts all come from being very distant. Because New Zealand closed its borders to international visitors the volume of air traffic dwindled to almost nothing, so books that used to take two weeks now take four or five to arrive.

The worst impact is for writers based here. It now costs more than the cover price of the book to post it overseas, so there is almost no chance of selling a New Zealand published book anywhere else in the world.
