Well that was a totally fun ride, even if predictable. Listening to it on audio, I rather think upped it. 3.8?

Who is Annie Lee Keyes? Voice like an angel, headstrong and independent, but also young and vulnerable. The newest sensation and rising country star, and clearly on the run and in very deep danger.

Written (and voiced in part) by Dolly Parton and James Patterson, it was a both a slow burn and a thriller. While fictional America is falling in love with the fictional Annie Lee Keyes, we readers come to care for her, and root for her. And we are falling in love with the tender story and music of Annie Lee and Ethan Blake. Whose narrated voice makes him even more sexy. I only wish I heard the actual music. It came off the pages for sure. Great job Dolly and James.

This is one of the only James Patterson books I would consider reading. Nothing against the guy, I just see his name too much and gives me an aversion to his books for some reason.

I was kinda interested in the one he wrote with Bill Clinton also.
