There are several, which I have been drooling over but haven't put any on my TBR.
Ordinary Monsters looked good even though I don't usually read fantasy.

I just saw this one and came to add it but you beat me to it! Are you procrastinating from working on something else or having a day off? I had to wait today until work wound down to check it out.

Well, I am retired so have a lot of time to play, but generally procrastinating from cleaning something. Laundry is finishing at the moment.
I am quite fond of the Book Bubs lists and will now peruse it.

Well you can be retired and still be serving on boards, volunteering, and number of things that are the equivalent of 9 to 5 job schecules, on top of laundry and cleaning!

You can, but I haven't moved in that direction at this point.

There was a point in which I loved to read anything to do with the French Revolution.

https://www.bookbub.com/blog/best-his......"
Well, being a francophile...plus I took a superb seminar at Barnard on the French Revolution led by Professor Darlene Levy who was so passionate and knowlegeable about it! Three of my favorite fiction reads for the period are A Tale of Two Cities, The Scarlet Pimpernel, and City of Darkness, City of Light.
So many of my favorite reading themes in my youth remain interests.

1t is also a refreshingly diverse list. Not all WWII!
