I didn't understand her motive at all. I did get that she was a true psychopath who only fakes emotions and doesn't really have any. I also didn't really understand why she killed herself instead of trying to escape.
Terri killed herself because she is weak and a coward. She can't take responsibility for her actions. I didn't understand why she wanted to kill Steven when she divorced her first husband. That baffled me.
So Teri wanted Steven dead (I agree Sharon. Why didn't she divorce him?) and cooked up this elaborate scheme to kill a couple of other guys and make it look like Garret King was behind everything. If she had stopped at three bodies and not killed Victor, I don't think they ever would have solved this crime. As far as Teri killing herself, she wasn't prepared to take responsibility for what she did. She never thought she'd get caught.
As best as I can piece together, Steven wasn’t willing to divorce Teri until they went through counseling. She didn’t want her psychopathy discovered so she’d killed him. Teri had fooled people all of her life, making them think she was this woman of perfection.
Honestly, the only way it makes sense is that she’s truly a psychopath. But, I have no explanation for her committing suicide other than her believing she was trapped.
