there is a dead she-cat in the bush//
DripPaw's heart weakened as she say the cat dead. What was she going to do with this kit. he didn't know how to raise one. She hoped Nightheart really meant what they said when they knew how to take care of kits.
Nightheart just said she knows how to raise them -.- //
DripPaw entered the forest and sat on her log once again. She was lost deep in thought and wasn't focused on the things around her.
Nightheart peaked through a bush and saw Drippaw, she walked to him “hello, so what happend?”, she asked kindly
DripPaw looked at the Nightheart and sighed,"I believe the kit is blind maybe, I left to let the medicine cat do her work. Other than that I'm at a loss on how to sneak him back out here Nightheart."
“Oh ok, I think he’ll do better in a Clan anyways”, she said
DripPaw sighed,"I hope you are sure Nightheart. I just can't shake this feeling that something isn't right out here." She puffed her chest p before taking a long, deep, and calming breath.
“I know what you mean I felt the same way when I lost my parents”, she meowed with a sad tone
She pressed her head against Nightheart's as a condolence then pulled away she looked off in the distance the spoke again,"Its not that. I think there's more out here than what we think their is. Something killed a she-cat and her kit for no good reason. There has to be a why Nightheart!"
“I know”, Nightheart said “you can always come to me if you have problems ok?”,
DripPaw wanted answers but the only way sh could get them was by asking the poor kit but that kit had been through enough already,"If you see a rouge Tom out here or even another rouge she-cat be cautious we don't know who did this. I'll be back again as soon as I get more news on the kit." and with that she headed back to camp.
Nightheart walked around the forest hunting, she walked back to the tree where Moth was. "Here"she meowed and gave Moth a Vole as she then sat down eating a mouse
DripPaw had always returned to her stump when things got to much for her. She contemplated leaving clan life but couldn't bring herself to leave.
Nightheart heard a sound and scared herself, she made slow paces then she jumped but quickly noticed it was drippaw and stopped “what are you doing”, she asked
DripPaw's hair raised slightly when seeing NightHeart but it soon subsided,"Thinking, I just don't know if clan life is for me anymore." she huffed and slunk off her stump before sitting on the dewy grass.
"How did you know when it was time to leave your clan NightHeart?"
"I didn't, I was 2 moons old and my parents died in a fight so I ran away not knowing what else to do", she admited "Why do you wan't to leave?"
She looked towards the sky as if not knowing how to word this properly,"Sometimes I feel as if our clan has too much going on to worry about." she examined the somewhat blistering burns on her paws and legs,
"That if the loss of one more mouth to feed, and less crowding of the blaze clan would be less troubling in the long run."
"You can always join kitty pet life or just be a loner", she meowed and sat down chewing on a mouse she caught
DripPaw fought deep within herself trying to find an answer,"I can't go back to being a kittypet and loner life is fine with me but I still need to link more on this before I decide to leave for good."
"Well as a loner you could join me and Moth, I'm still teaching her how to hunt", she giggled "and as a Clan cat you've got a big family, I mean I'm still trying to find my sister", Nightheart looked down "I can't really help you this time, you have to decide this on your own"
She flopped down feeling the dew on her sores,"I know NightHeart, I hope you do find your sister. For now I think I'll contemplate more on the subject. Thank You."
"Nightheart stood up and headed to the tree where Moth was and back to Drippaw "Here", she said and dropped a big vole in front of Droppaw
DripPaw was slow to take the food. She ate slowly not having ate anything since the fire at the camp.
The Scent of blood and Milkweed was on him but what they didn't know is that, His mom was right next to him dead in the bush. "I can't see. Mama?"
