I read the book and I really liked it

Just finished this one - and it is my favorite story so far. I think there was a better balance between the romance and action.
I'm halfway through and I'm enjoying the multiple storylines. It's really interesting to get so much insight into Sam's childhood. Unexpectedly, my favorite couple so far isn't Sam and Alyssa but Max and Gina. That may change by the end.
I'm 1/3 in, and this story is making me anxious. I need a drink 🍻 🍷 🥃 🍸 or two to continue. Tom's boss is an a$$hat. I understand that we don't always have bosses who like us, but this guy is using his power for revenge. I don't understand why. Did I miss something in a previous book. Kelly is a getting on my nerves. I don't understand her commitment phobia. I get her history, but come on Tom is a good guy.
I do like the multiple storylines too.
