Mary Lou realizes she played a part in the base attack, packs up and takes Haley with her to Florida and serves Sam with divorce papers. Is she running away or trying to start anew?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I think Mary Lou had feelings for Ibrahim. She believes that he used her to get the guns onto the base. I don't know if she knows that Bob was one of the ringleaders and Ibrahim was an innocent bystander.

After calling 911, Mary Lou decided to get out of town and head to her only friend in Florida. I think she feels guilty for unknowingly letting the terrorists use her and wants to get away from everyone involved.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1808 comments Mary Lou is a coward. She is running away rather than face the music.

Ditto Lauren. Nothing noble about her actions. She fled.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments Agree. Mary Lou should have told the police everything she knew about the bombing. Ibrahim would be eliminated quickly then everyone would focus on finding Bob.

Mary Lou took the cowards way out and ran. My guess when Bob returns, whatever happens will be on Mary Lou's conscience, if she has one.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments When the light bulb goes off over Mary Lou's head, she does the right thing by calling 911. Then she does the absolute wrong thing in packing up and leaving. She really doesn't think much beyond taking her next step, literally. She has no idea of the hell that is about to rain down on Sam when her fingerprints are discovered, and she is in the wind.

Mary Lou had this whole other life that Sam is completely unaware of. He’s in trouble despite what he doesn’t know. In the military, you’re responsible for the actions of your family. I learned the hard way.
