CLOSED - Editor or experienced beta reader needed for critique of British contemporary-ish novella 30k

Hi all,

I have a full draft 30k novella I'm seeking either an editor or experienced beta reader for as I can no longer look at it clearly! No blurb yet, too early for that, but it is a (semi)contemporary setting (2010) and is based around an old heist gang's reunion after 17 years, whose leader's run out of money for his daughter's forthcoming nuptials.

I'd like a critique that's deeper than a beta read, but not a proper edit yet at this stage and so please quote accordingly for your time.

The cast is primarily male, and it is a character driven exploration of them and their relationships with each other since their split in 1993, and the women in their lives.

I'll have a few select questions, but at this stage I'm looking for fresh eyes for things that jump out and are not working that I can no longer see.

Won't suit those who are sensitive or PC.

Many thanks for noting the DM issue - I never changed it from "everyone can" but GM has allegedly messed with privacy settings... Is amended.
