Josiah | 41 comments As for the process YouTube shows exactly how to make it.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments why do people post that kind of thing online tho? As helpful as it is, some people *cough* me *cough* shouldn't be allowed to know these things...

message 554: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Yeah really…. The person who made the video was using it for entertainment purposes, but it definitely could be used with malevolent intent. The process is hard enough that an angry person attempting arson might not do it, as it requires certain materials such as an Erlenmyer flask and a beaker, it could be done with household objects, but it would be more dangerous, the solution has to be kept cold when being made or it spontaneously combusts.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments At least if they try when they're angry they might not end up doing it right. While that does mean possible death, the person doing it might have deserved it...

message 556: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Yeah depending on the situation. Have you heard of the shooting of the United Healthcare CEO?

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments no
what happened?

message 558: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments A college student going to Harvard University 3D printed his own gun, and then scheduled an appointment with the CEO of United Healthcare and shot him. Because of the 3D printer gun he almost escaped, but was recognized in a McDonald’s several hundred miles away. The lesson is don’t shoot people in the first place, but if you’re misguided and do it anyways, make sure you don’t go to McDonald’s, the employees are watching you.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments Don't go to McDonalds is the lesson???XD

I would ask if the guy's alive, but I have a feeling he's not...

message 560: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments He is alive, and pleading not guilty for murder, but that probably won’t go well for him.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments I meant the guy that was shot but ok!

message 562: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Oh, yeah the CEO died immediately

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments that's nice

congrats to the shooter on a job well done!

message 564: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Yeah as everyone knows it’s super hard to hit someone standing ten feet away…. The shooter had really painful back problems and United Healthcare denied him his pain medication because the shooter tried to make an insurance claim.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments Well then, his crime is justified, he shouldn't have to go to jail for that!

message 566: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Even though he was treated horribly by the healthcare industry, that does not give him an excuse to murder someone. The CEO wasn’t even related to the shooter being denied his medicine.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments Well.... I genuinely thought that violence was always the answer!

message 568: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Sometimes it is, but sometimes a gentle response can be better, especially when cultivating relationships. In this case, the shooter would have been better off
taking the company to court. He could have gotten his remedies and not gone to prison for life.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments but thats no fun...:(

message 570: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Ok……you can choose life and prison for short term “fun” if you want, but I’m fine with getting rich off of a court case 😁

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments Well obviously, I would know not to get caught. No jail time for me + all the fun!

I would take your advice and not go into a McDonalds for a few weeks after shooting someone

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments Because the employees need to stop watching their customers so closely

message 573: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Yeah really though. Apparently this McDonald’s worker was looking closely enough to identify a suspect who was using a partial face covering during the shooting, so what does that tell you about their employees? They watch you…….

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments This is a call for all people that want to petition the Mcdonalds workers for being too observant

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments Hot cocoa!!!!! It burns sometimes...

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments Songs could be weaponized

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments what do you do to them?!

message 579: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Welllll singing a song 3 octaves higher than it’s supposed to be really loud at 6 in the morning……to be fair I wasn’t trying to be annoying, I just didn’t really think about what time it was, but my family didn’t really agree 😂

that one random bookworm | 10 comments i feel like a book would be a pretty good weapon. not that i've tried it on my friends or anything. totally not.

Josiah | 41 comments A speaker. I think that’s all that needs said.

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments is it just me or is this the only thread on chaos and a cup of coffee that's actually active?

message 585: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Yeah…… what does that tell you about society?? 😂

Sophie [thoughts of oranges] Foster | 76 comments it tells us that society has violent tendencies and thoughts. Oh, and that weapons are just a lot more fun to chat abt than books!

message 587: by Josiah (new)

Josiah | 41 comments Exactly!

message 588: by Cora (new)

Cora Link | 13 comments Why do you think this group is called Chaos with a Cup of Coffee? We talk about chaotic things, all the while sipping our coffee as we plan our revenge with strange objects.
