The plastic surgery implants lead them to the doctor who deepens the mystery given the behavior of the woman identified as Lynn Hoff. Your first guesses as to why she was trying to hide?

She was afraid for her life, and an altered appearance would make it easier. My first thought was she angered the wrong gang.

I actually thought she might be running from an abusive husband. She was so thorough in how she handled the doctor it was clear she’d had info guiding her to cover her tracks. Still could have been mob or gang related, too.

An abusive husband makes more sense in hindsight. I don't know why I had gangs on my mind.

She wanted to change her appearance and disappear. Someone was gunning for her, and she was trying to be invisible. At that time, I had no idea what or who she was hiding from.

Honestly, at that point I thought she was running from the mafia. That was the first thing that popped into my head.
