Author Program

Hello, I want to apply to the author program for my novel. It's in the 'draft' stage on kindle as it's not yet available until September, 2022. That being said, I want to create my author profile so I can properly advertise the book on Goodreads before the release date. On the Author Program it says "Link to a publisher site (such as Amazon, Createspace, Smashwords, etc.) that confirms your book(s) have been OR will be published." How do I give a link that the novel will be published?

Please help so i can confirm I'm the author!

Goodreads Librarians are not employees of Goodreads, but volunteers. They have no control over approvals of Goodreads Author status. If you are having a problem with yours, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.

Okay thank you, still learning. ☺️ I have an official date for my book so could I ask a librarian to change my description? I would like it to be changed from “coming this summer 2022” to “Available for purchase September 5, 2022”

I changed it from ebook to paperback and added the ISBN, which will likely increase your ability to be approved. Now you can try to claim the page again or write directly to Support.
