Abby wrote: "If Pinocchio said “ my nose will grow now “
what would happen?"
Good question.
There's always a small delay reaction time whenever he lies to anyone or himself. That being said if Pinocchio said that then his nose would grow after the delayed time and now he would have a long nose until he told the truth. The nose also only grows if Pinocchio says the lie out loud not when he thinks it so he can think of a lie before saying it and if he thinks hard enough that lie will become the truth for him.

I think the answer to Pinocchio's Paradox is quite simple if you take it literally. Pinocchio lies, so his nose grows. If he tells the truth, his nose does not. If you think of it figuratively, his nose neither grows or does not grow, which does not provide an answer. Figuratively, when Pinocchio says his nose will grow; if you say he is telling the truth and his nose indeed grow, that wouldn't make sense since he would be telling the truth, therefore his nose cannot grow, but makes him telling a lie, but again his nose will have to grow in order for that to be a lie. The answer is hidden in the way Pinocchio says it. "My nose will grow now." The word 'now' is used at present, the exact moment when Pinocchio says it, but since he has not finished his statement yet his nose cannot determine whether he is lying or not. So, in that same logic, when Pinocchio is halfway through the word 'now', his nose doesn't grow when it should. So, he is lying and his nose does grow at the end.
豪雨阴 wrote: "i do not think i understand what you just said henry"Alright here let me simplify it
There's a short delay before pinocchio's nose grows after lying. So when pinocchio says his nose will grow technically it wont grow for that short period of time making it so that he lied meaning his nose will grow.

Wait, what?? So did you mean "mod" as in "moderator," or am I missing something?? Autism brain does not compute ;A;
Madelynn wrote: "It's a delayed growth basically"Yup!
In the beginning when he says it, nothing happens, therefore it turns into a lie and his nose extends. Now that it's a truth, his nose will then contract.
He pulls an uno reverse on his own nose
Madelynn wrote: "Idk either tbh! I just use it cause everyone does"It's just that in the English (American/Canadian, not sure about British) language, when someone capitalizes a second letter like that, it normally turns it into an abbreviation, like League of Legends equals to LoL, or GR equals to Goodreads.
The only subject I was actually good at on my own was English. ;u; It makes me despise how complex the American-Canadian English language is.
Madelynn wrote: "Haha i didnt know what a mod was before so i looked it up"oh ok, hey ppl how yall on the hot summer time.?
My family was interesting on sunlight, Jessie: Dad turned pink, Mom turned pink and then burned and I tan quickly, then eventually burn. The strangest place I got a sunburn on was the rim of my left ear from squatting on a sheet and moving canned food donations for a truck my friends and I filled with relief supplies for the Honduras after Hurricane Mitch. This was in my Sophomore or Junior year at Northern Arizona University...on an unusually hot (75+ degrees Fahrenheit) February day.

It doesn't usually get THAT hot in Flagstaff until the middle of August because Flagstaff is at 7,000 feet above sea level. That said, it can get up to 130 degrees Fahrenheit in Phoenix. One day of summer break between the end of 6th grade and the start of my 7th grade (middle school) it got so damn hot the asphalt at Sky Harbor Airport actually started MELTING and all incoming flights had to be rerouted to places like Tucson, Las Vegas, Denver and Los Angeles.
I JUST posted on 'WritingLightning's Writing' on here...FINALLY!!!It's been a while since I opened that up...
Jessie wrote: "I forgot sunscreen so I’m def going to be burnt when I get home 😅"Oh man, that certainly brings back a memory! I have no shyness about asking someone to put sunscreen on my back anymore because of what happened two years ago.
My entire back was burnt to a crisp...except literally one spot the size of the fingerprint of my index finger that managed to get some kind of coverage by sunscreen. xD The skin covered by my sports bra was totally fine, hut once we got home...man, I have never felt that kind of pain before in my life, and considering my pain tolerance is near to non-existent (no exaggerations, sadly), it was baaaaaaaad. 0/10, do not recommend. Two weeks of agonizing pain and peeling skin (plus self-control issues)? Never again! My anxiety has learned its lesson!
Needles to say, once my skin finally healed, I got a pretty decent tan on my back. It was definitely weird to look at in the mirror because of the contrast it created against my pale skin. Two years later and I can still just barely see it...including the one spot that managed to get sunscreen. xD (For temperature context, that day was above 30°C. Not sure what it translates to in fahrenheit, tho.)

hey guys how yall, doing on this very hot day today?
I’ve been doing ok, got whacked with flare ups so I’ve spent most of the day laying down and reading (Glass Syndrome, & A Year to The Day) 🤷♀️ What have y’all been reading as of late?
Currently Im avoiding the book I'm reading because I'm not emotionally read to cry more. xD It's a very emotional read for me.
I feel that on a spiritual level 😂 Nothing is harder than trying to get through the ending of an emotional book.
You're welcome. Today's the first day since last Saturday I've been able to get to the library. The weather's been extremely hot.Birdsong231ԑ̮̑ঙ (pls no more group invs) wrote: "Amber wrote: "Approximately 90 degrees Fahrenheit, Birdsong."
