Welcome to the Anything You Want Buddy Read Discussion thread! This thread officially opens on May 12th and anyone can join at any time. Please keep in mind that spoilers are allowed in this thread but only up to the group's current reading place. Do not spoil the book if you've read further than the group. Any extra days can be used to catch up!

Each day we will be reading by chapters or page numbers. Page numbers are an approximation based on the hardcover or paperback that is the default on Goodreads. The suggested Buddy Read discussion schedule is as follows:

Week of 05/12
May 12: Pages 1-30
May 13: Pages 31-60
May 14: Pages 61-90

Pushkar | 89 comments Considering how we came to reading this book I didn't think it will be a really good book.
I thought it is just another of self help book.
But it is interesting. I am liking it.
He makes starting business sounds so simple.
I never heard of his company. I googled it before starting the book.
What he said in book is really good.
Do you think all hugely successful businesses start like this just by accident and not by deliberate thinking? Take Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Google(maybe...not sure) for example, didn't they start with a different motive and became something different completely. Did their founders had this vision in their mind and did they think it will be this successful?

Renee It’s good to read that the author wanted to help other musicians selling their music and not caring about making money off other people’s back. He created a business by accident and didn’t get greedy along the way. If only more companies acted this way

Renee Finished the book now. It started as a joke; books you must read before you die: anything you want. I actually meant any book you want, but Pushkar saw it was an actual book and we decided to buddy read it. I don’t regret it. It was a nice read. Although the book was more the author’s experience how he accidentally set up a succesful business. If you are looking for advice how to have a succesful business, this is not the way. The author’s answer is: I don’t know, I don’t care

Hey I missed your messages here.

I finished it just now!
I felt it was a really nice book.
It might not be the book you should read before you die but it is a book one should read while they live!
It might not be a good business guide or it might be but it shades some light on how one should do what one loves without thinking about all the numbers and maybe something good might come out of it!
