This book its made for kindergartens and some preschoolers. I say that because younger children may not comprehend the moral of the story. However, i like this story and how the pages are dark to help contrast with the title. In addition, I think that the colors of the mice, helps the children visualize the the mice as individuals. Children are also learning the days of the week, animals, and colors without even knowing it. I love how at the end of the story, it is a recap.
