Johnny (johnnyg25) | 43 comments Regarding the book:
The Creature from Jekyll Island: A Second Look at the Federal Reserve
ISBN: 9780912986463
https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

Two different editions were created, one for the ISBN10 0912986468 and one for the equivalent ISBN13 9780912986463, with 30+ and 10+ ratings respectively. I've separated the editions from the main entry, moved the ISBN10 to the ISBN13, and now the edition with no ISBN is pending deletion to merge with the more rated edition. Can a Superlibrarian merge/delete it? If they then want to combine it with the main entry, great, if not I can do so later.

Thanks and let me know if there is any issue.

P.S.: Can a superlibrarian also confirm and delete the following edition if appropriate? It reuses the title and book cover of the book above, but has a different author with no other book listed, I have found no confirmation that the ISBN actually exists, no results for the author/title, and the book has no ratings or reviews (though may have been shelved due to the title).

Book: Jacqueline Highfill - The Creature from Jekyll Island
ISBN: 9798404855272

Thanks! I then merged that with the canonical work.

Regarding the P.S., would you be able to delete the work with 0 ratings/reviews? It is using the cover and title corresponding with the established work above, and I've found no reason or evidence whatsoever for "author" 'Jacqueline Highfill' reusing the cover or title of another author's book, the book having any relation to her, or the ISBN actually existing, for that matter.

Renske | 12220 comments Although it is an odd page, it isn't that straightforward what should be done, as we don't know what it was. It was imported from Amazon so at some point it was listed there, but is now removed there.
It could be a notebook with a cover of the book (I have seen several of those recently and those should be merged), or a book about the other book (but generally those have different covers) or a honest mix up elsewhere with adding the data or someone creating intentionally a fake book. And those possibilities have different ways how they should be handled.

Emily | 17486 comments I'm familiar with this book, and I think the record is for a fake book/author. You may wish to write to Support and let them know so they can investigate. I would include a link to this thread.
