Of course, if the method of death is abortion, I would rather be unwound. Then I would at least have a chance of escape. But if death is by some other means, then I would choose that, unless the death is really painful.

i would prefer a quick death, when i reached that part where Roland was being unwound, well that was quite awful, painless but then, i don't think i'd ever fancy to be someone like Humphrey Dunfee.
Honestly, I think I'd rather die. Kids don't know they're unwound, I wouldn't want to think I'm still living... when I'm divided.
I would rather be unwound. Even today, there are many people that die because they can't get the necessary organs to live on. The only problem is, I would want to be unwound when I think I'm ready, not when my parents decide. If I think that I have accomplished what I needed to, I would gladly give my organs to somebody to save them.
