Synopsis:Hidden within the Southwestern region of the Hallowed Forest lives a small family of mice known as the Shortwhiskers. Since they first settled in their small but secluded clearing, they have lived peaceful and uneventful lives. Perhaps it may have remained that way if not for a monstrous serpent who discovered their home and laid waste to it. When the dust had settled, and the beast departed, only two surviving siblings remained. Both siblings now venture out of their homes and into the forest for the first time in their lives. With one sibling seeking revenge against the monster who took everything from them and the other wishing to save them from certain doom; both are willing to endure the perils of the forest to achieve their goals. Little did they know that their journeys would serve as the catalyst for a new era for the denizens of the Hallowed Forest.

The book I am wanting reviews for is The Red Grouse Tales; The Little Dog and other stories, which has just been nominated as a Finalist in this year’s Book Excellence Awards, and I'll happily offer a free file to any reviewer or reader who would like to read and review it.
The Red Grouse Tales
The book is comprised of four novella length tales, or as some have described them, modern fables. Each is different (a bit of mystery, paranormal, historical, horror, ghost and even a touch of romance), so hopefully something for everyone! Told in The Red Grouse Inn, the universal appeal of these four charming modern day fables, each very different, adult, speculative, spiritual and philosophical, they will intrigue and entertain. Beautiful and atmospheric imagery, surreal and paranormal concepts of angels, ghosts and devils, these tales will have you guessing, turning the pages and looking forward to the next one.
The four tales are:-
The Little Dog - a story of good and evil and retribution.
The Crow - a poignant tale of misunderstanding, dying, bitterness and blame.
The Golden Tup - a dreadful tale of paradise being cruelly taken by latent evil.
The White Hart - a happy ghost story, if there can be such a thing!
