Georgie Rannoch, 34th in line to the British throne, inadvertently advertises herself as an escort and Scotland Yard suggests she return to her families estate in Scotland to avoid any scandal. On the way home she's approached by another member of Scotland Yard who wants her to keep an eye on the royal family, who are having a shooting party at nearby Balmoral, as there have been several suspicious accidents. Georgie's sister in law actually welcomes her return as her brother Bertie was seriously injured by a trap and there are several unwanted American guests in the house. Pretty much everyone Georgie knows ends up staying in the area, including the dashing Darcy. this series is fun and I enjoy the characters. I look forward to continuing the series.
