Who's planning to join in on this read? Why did you choose this book? Any expectations?

Well it has been on my kill list TBR for some time and I believe it was considered a must read by my mom so I figure why not..?

I am going to read this, as I love Steinbeck's writing and want to hear his take on this from that era. I read The Four Winds and thought it was good and want to compare them.

Looking for a buddy I am on chapter 6 and the book is good but wanting a buddy through it…anyone and more than one is welcome…I just want to chat not only about the book but about the difficulty sometimes in getting myself down to read and so on
