*First to Go - there's no question this book is character driven. And quite worthy at that.

I greatly enjoyed this. Beautiful Little Fools is a retelling/re-imagining of the Women of the Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Told from the eyes of Daisy, Jordan, and Catherine, and even Myrtle, and a new detective, the story is explored and re-imagined from each of the women's pasts, through the ultimate outcome and after. I thought it was brilliantly done, and wonderful to return to that world through this kind of a lens. So unique. Adds depth and color as a re-imagining and retelling of a classic novel, that inspired many of us as writers and readers.
