Hi All, I'd be delighted to receive some reviews for my new novel 'The Villa'. It is a short, very readable novel of just under 150 pages. I would describe it as 'a novel of intrigue'.
The Villa itself - a palatial mansion built by entrepreneur Frank du Maurier - is the setting for a fast-paced tale of intrigue, betrayal and murder involving two successive generations of the same family. Tony Melville, the innocent narrator, finds himself embroiled in a commercial fraud perpetrated by du Maurier, and only narrowly escapes jail. Fifteen years later, following du Maurier's death in an air crash, the nightmare begins again as du Maurier's adult children return to live at The Villa in a strange and unsettling ménage dominated by the enigmatic and Machiavellian Fontini Conti. This time Tony is not just fighting for his freedom - he is fighting for his life. I will be having a Goodreads Giveaway starting on the 2nd May 2022 (until the 14th May) if you would like to bid for a free Kindle copy. Alternatively, I should be very happy to email you with a pdf copy if you will let me have your email address. I am also happy to post a free paperback copy to anyone who would like one to review (UK only please) if you are willing to let me have your postal address. Please contact me at jimavincent@outlook.com Many thanks!
