Mine was Hannah's Hope by Karen Kingsbury. I borrowed the book from our school's library way back in high school.

Obsession started with Percy Jackson the lightning thief, I redound my love for reading when the obsession of ACOTAR started

Paper towns - a friend of mine gifted me this book, tho it’s not the very first book i read but my REAL obsession with reading and books started from there :)
The first book in the divergent series! I still haven’t got around to the rest of the series (nervous about the ending) but I’ve read 100’s of books since then!
i want to say it was percy jackson & the olympians, but looking back i see that i only rated those books 3 or 4 stars - clearly i didn't like them as much as i remember! i'm pretty sure i was only there for percy & annabeth, the biggest slow burn of all time, which is probably why i was disappointed lol
I read a lot of John green when I was a teen but I stopped reading for yearsss, re found my love through acotar and from blood and ash!
i don’t exactly remember what boo got me into INTO reading but the cruel prince trilogy was what made me fall back in love with reading last year :)
