Midnight strolled through the streets, her nose going overdrive at all the senses and smells from the shops. She mentally rolled her eyes as she realized she finally got her entertainment, or more her distraction.
Pixle was carrying a whole bunch of tech such as tools, mettle, and strange devices of her own creation. Though she was caring to much all at the same time as she dropped some and in attempted pick up her stuff she dropped more.
Midnight spotted the chocolate-colored hedgehog and was taken aback. Besides the obvious gender change, she looked exactly like the one she had just seen at the park. Puzzled but noting this poor girl was struggling, she used her power to start picking things up from afar.
Pixle forze when everything started to float. She then said "I told you not to help me!" she said a bit frustrated then turned around and her face darkened a bit "O-oh sorry" she apologized for being rude.
Midnight smiled. "Oh, you're fine. I kinda came out of nowhere." Wow, they are fricking IDENTICAL. She continued to hold the inventions within hands-reach of the hedgehog.
Pixle grabbed the stuff slowly and said "Thank you. Sorry for being rude. I thought you were-" she stopped her sentence before she could continue. "Someone I knew."
Midnight frowned. "You're welcome. Where are you headed?" She asked, not questioning the 'someone I know' part of the hedgehog's sentence.
"I was heading to my workshop" Pixle replied worried a bit at the others frown. "I-i didnt upset you did I?"
"No, no. You're fine. Here, let me help you get these to your workshop." She smiled and reached for a couple of the extra inventions.(( Is this on the main street or would it count as her house?))
((It would count as her house which I have yet to request))"Thanks" Pixle smiled and carried some of the stuff as the other girl carried the rest. She then led the way
Midnight followed, using her powers to carry the stuff so she could be free to walk with the load on her hands.
Dune walked down the street, happy to finally be relaxed.
Rouge strutted down the street, looking into all the shops and admiring some of the clothing. She really needed a new style, not to mention, jewelry. She thought Shadow wouldn't mind if she went a little out on herself. Besides, at least she hadn't thieved anything. But it was getting boring, and she couldn't help but want to check up on Omega. Tails said he was in good hands. Which, she had no doubt he was, but she still hoped his repairs could be done. The last mission was brutal. This had her moving faster toward the lab on the other side of town, brushing past people. She didn't notice she had rushed roughly until she bumped into a female cat heading in the opposite direction.
"Hey! Watch it!" Dune yelled, sprawled on the ground. She stood up and glared at the bat who had shoved her.
(( She's a Bat ))"Woah. Sorry, Honey." She put her hands up defensively. "I didn't mean to. I swear. Just in a rush." She held out her hand to help the cat up. "Can I catch your name?"
"Sure," Dune says, rolling her eyes. Although this bat was helping her, she wasn't entirely trusting them. Why would they ask for her name?
"So... What's your name, Honey? I'm Rouge. I'm sorry about plowing you over. I was lost in thought." She helped the cat to her feet and gave her a small smile. She wasn't used to being the nice person in a conversation. Unless it was with Shadow or Omega.
"It's okay. I'm Dune." Dune smiled a bit. This person didn't seem as scary anymore. She picked up a leaf off the ground and turned it to a deep blue that faded to purple. She would paint that later, she decided.
"Anything. I can also make things translucent but not invisible." Dune touched her fur and she disappeared, the only thing visible was a faint outline of her figure. She reappeared.
"Thanks. How about you? I mean, what's your power?" Dune said. She studied the leaf, noting the colors.
Rouge chuckled. "I don't necessarily have a power." She rustled her wings. "But.... " She walked a round her, distracting her as she took the leaf in her hands without Dune noticing. "I have a knack for being extremely good at snatching things."
Dune glanced at her empty hands for a moment. "Cool. I think that counts as a power, and it's really cool."
Rouge chuckled. "If you say so. My companions find it rather- pestering." She laughed as she remembered all the times Shadow had gotten after her. Or her shenanigans with Knuckles
Dune said, "You can have that one. I can always make another." She flicked her tail back and forth.
"Really? Why thank you." She gazed at the leaf loving how abnormally natural it was. She smiled. "Well, I owe you for about running you over, you wanna come get something to eat? It'll be on me."
"Sure!" Dune smiled at her. That was nice.
"I saw a restaurant that way," says Dune, pointing south.
"Alright." She smiled and started walking in the direction Dune pointed. "So, tell me a bit about yourself?"
"Uh, I'm a rare type of cat called a sand cat," says Dune.
"Oh, really? That's most likely why I couldn't put my finger one what species you were." She smiled a little.
"Yeah, sand cats are a threatened species." Dune looks at Rouge. "Thanks for trying."
"Yep." Dune stopped in front and opened the door.
((Should we transition to the restaurant?))
