Dune sits down and studies the menu.
Rouge sits across from Dune, crossing her legs. She looked at the menu and decided to get what she usually did.
Rouge orders and rests her arms on the table. "So, what hobbies do you like?"
"Painting, mostly. And drawing." Dune leans back in her chair, thinking about all her drawings and paintings back home.
"Really? That's nice. I have a question." Rouge asked.
"Sure, go ahead." Dune waits for the question.
"I was wondering- can you change the color of fabric?" She asked, resting her head on her hands.
"Yep. Pretty much anything, but water is kinda hard. Why? Not to be rude," Dune says.
"I was curious because I was wondering- could you change my outfit to another color?" She asked.
"Of course! What color?" Dune asked. Some colors were harder to do than others.
"Yeah, purple is easy. It's the colors like coquelicot and aureolin that are hard to do." Dune glanced up eagerly. "Where is the outfit?"
"Great!" Rouge clapped her hands. "Can you do the one I'm wearing? I am terribly over pink right now."
"Sure, I just need to touch a portion of it." Dune lightly touched the sleeve and closed her eyes. The color purple began to spread over the pink like an ink stain. When she was done, Dune let go and opened her eyes. "There."
Rouge's eyes lit up and she smiled. "Thank so, so much. I couldn't find anything my style in a different color in their god-forsaken town." She puffed out her wings around her chair and they received their drinks from the waiter.
"No problem. It's always fun to use my power." Dune smiled and slurped down her drink.

"Yeah..." Dune trailed off as the waiter came with their food.

Rouge grinned. "Yes, food. Thank you, Honey." She nodded at the waiter before digging into her food. "So, do have any friends here?"
"Not really, besides you." Dune smiled at her and continued eating.
Rouge thought for a second. "How would like to meet some more people? I have a team of sorts, and I have to hunt down my other partner. Would you want to join me?" She asked, looking at her wrist communicator to contact her partner
"Sure. If it's okay with everyone else." Dune looked up, interested in the "team."
Rouge took another bite and chuckled. "His opinion is invalid. Besides, our other members is in for repairs and our contemporary member is busy."
In for repairs? Dune thought. "So, what is the team's purpose?" she asked. Dune pushed her food around the plate with a fork, no longer hungry.
"The team is for G.U.N. We help on missions against villains and criminals. We are naturally friends, but we work on those missions together. Or whenever Sonic and his team need help." Rouge noticed her change in attitude. "Something wrong?"
"Well, I just thought that maybe your team wasn't on the side of heroes... I'll join. Where should I meet everyone?" Dune perked up at the mention of Sonic. He was her hero.
Rouge chuckled. "We always help out Big Blue." She smiled and sat back in her chair. "Well, as soon as I find Tall, Dark, And Grumpy. He hasn't responded to me yet. But I have a feeling where he is. We could find him together if you'd like and go from there."
"Who's Tall, Dark, and Grumpy? And sure, let's go and find him." Dune finishes her food and lets her fork fall to her plate with a clatter.

Rouge smiled. "You'll see. He's not too popular. But he's enough. You ready? "
"Yep." Dune stood up and stretched. "Where do you usually find him?"
"Without a doubt, he's most likely walking around the woods. He likes his peace and quiet." Rouge stretched and flexed her wings, tapping at her wrist communicator, leaving money for the tab.
"Let's go there." Dune walked toward the exit.
