Sarcastic and trustworthy, Thea Adamos is usually the claimed "Responsible One" in almost all of the friend groups she has ever been in. She always does her best to be level-headed in most situations, but when she gets irritated you'll know; she gets very snippy... very snippy.
She enjoys stability but isn't opposed to change unless is comes way too rapidly or is something she is staunchly against. She could beat you up, but it's more of a subconscious reflex thing, than it is a "I-actually-want-to-beat-you-up" thing. She believes in letting people face the consequences of their own actions and is actually very accepting of most things, but she's also very strong with her opinions and isn't afraid to throw hands about her morals. She doesn't like having to force anyone to do anything and is easygoing with everybody unless their own actions interfere with her life.
She seems very chill and keeps to herself if you don't get to know her personally, but after, she'll show you just how worked up and sarcastic she can get.
When it comes to her own life, she works herself as hard as she can, the product of being the kid of two genius spies who just could never seem to understand why she couldn't understand complex escape strategies at age 10 much less empathize with her internal struggles. As a result, she became extremely hardworking and self-reliant, to a fault at times, having almost tunnel vision when it comes to tasks she has to finish, and she takes it very hard on herself when she fails to meet her own standards or the standards of her parents.
She never really took to the idea of following in her parents' footsteps on the path of espionage, instead becoming drawn to the law. In fact, just weeks before she was supposed to start a prestigious law and business program at her old school, her parents whisked her away to take her to CLOUD, giving her absolutely no knowledge about it until she had arrived.
So, obviously she freaked out a ton and decided to rebel by purposefully being bad at most of the things they had her doing until she accidentally got very interested in it and now she genuinely likes learning about it. Disgusting, she knows.
She gets extremely freaked out when things happen that are not supposed to happen. You know, like her parents sending her away to a school across the country and forcing her away from the life had in Washington. You know, not a specific thing at all! :)
She's the queen of overthinking and gets incredibly snappy and rude if you irritate her even after she's told you that it bothers her. That's why if you have a bad relationship with her, she seems like a high-maintenance control freak. Which, okay, she can be, but only when she gets very wound up.

Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Thea was the biological daughter of a spy (belonging to the same organization as adopted parents), and an unknown policeman. When her parents died in a terrible fire in their own home just weeks after her birth while she was in daycare, her adopted parents (who had found themselves unable to biologically have children) decided to take her before the government could find her and start asking questions, taking her down to Washington DC and completely transforming her identity so she would never know the details about who she was before. Her adopted parents themselves were originally from Greece before they immigrated to The States, so they changed her original name, Arabella Vanderberg, to Thea Adamos during the process of changing everything about who she was. She had a relatively happy life if you didn't count the mental manipulation she'd constantly face from her parents, as well as them leaving for weeks at a time, leaving her to the cranky old woman down the street who was getting paid before she became 14. From then on, she would take care of herself when her parents were away, not that it was much different either way. She pushed herself as hard as she could, getting the best grades, actively trying to learn about things her parents were interested in and basically doing what she could to make them proud of her. When she finally started to decide her own path for herself, almost about to join a law program, her parents panicked and decided to ship her off to the other end of the country to attend CLOUD. They did it to force her to learn more about their path so she would have to like it. Obviously, she did not take to this very well at all.

Belladonna is...we’ll say it’s a fitting name for the spy.
Bel appears sweet and kind. He seems like he just want things to turn out well. He's almost innocent, lovely, charming others with their gentle appeals. To outsiders, he's lovable and sympathetic. He's nice.
On the outside, you could almost say that he's harmless.
Sweet and alluring, right until you die.
Under this soft, pleasing exterior is pure poison. Belladonna is ruthless, and like his namesake, he's deadly. He rules with a merciless hand, lethal and sadistic. He's allegiance is to no one but themself - and he's more than willing to kill for that.
Bel is suggestive, quiet and cunning. You wouldn’t notice his actions until you found yourself caught in his web, woven just so. Not that there’s anything wrong with this, right? Not to him.
After all, who could deny the appeal of personal gain? Lust and power, two overcoming and yet subtle forces, ruling bitter and cruel reigns.
Bel takes what he want.
Money. Priceless heirlooms. Lives.
It’s usually nothing personal.
He stops at nothing. Belladonna is determined, made of venom and steel traps right to his core. Torture and death are tools, toys to play with when he's bored, weapons to wield when he's not. He's exceedingly clever, twisting words of his enemies just so and binding them in their own ropes.
His darker side can be impossible to notice, which is very helpful in gathering information. Finding other’s weaknesses and hitting them just right, like a game of darts.
If you couldn’t tell, Bel is manipulative. His promising, docile exterior is just bait; he can put on whatever face he needs, spin whatever lies he wants. He can act and hide and cover all trace of the destruction within.
Belladonna is really just vicious.
Paranoia, of others coming for him - maybe the same way he did to his rivals - it’s there. Rotting from the inside out. Because he can’t let himself be unseated. He takes and takes, and the thought of someone else getting it all is intolerable.
Of course, it’s impossible to expect anything else from someone practically raised in the CLOUD. He thrived off infighting, webs of the political and personal kind. Everyone wanted to be dominant, the one at the top. It was never anything cruel. That was just how he was raised.
If their subjects can’t understand that, then something is wrong with the kingdom.
Bel lives to manipulate others to do his will. The power, the glory that comes from being the strongest, the most deadly - he could never get enough. The satisfaction and amusement it brings him to see one more person kneeling, begging, or dead...nothing can match it. He lives for and thrive off of power and cruelty.
Unfortunately, Belladonna gets bored easily. He craves the next big thing, the greater event. He's almost never satisfied. He needs the pleasure. He can’t live without it. The rush from being poised just above an unsuspecting victim, of having manipulated them, having positioned them just right? That moment, right before the kill, right before the poison takes hold. It’s unparallelled.
But while he gains immense enjoyment from long, drawn-out plans and carefully laid traps, he's impatient. His want for immediate gratification drowns everything out sometimes.
Naturally, he's somewhat unstable. His mood changes from one thought to another, his satisfaction being his prime priority. He plays games with lives, makes bets on deaths.
Because inside him, there’s just a gaping emptiness, a void that needs to be filled. Bel’s greed, his hunger for power, his greed, it’s all he needs It’s never enough. He has an intense need for more.
That’s Belladonna.
Sadistic.
Ruthless.
Greedy.
Toxic.
And sweet.
Sweet enough to kill.
Call him a snake in the grass, a wolf in sheep's clothing, or maybe just call him backstabber and be done with it.
Anything you said that goes along those lines? You couldn't be more right. And isn't that half the reason he does it? The adrenaline that comes with knowing every dastardly disgusting secret about those who think they have you under their thumbs? It's intoxicating, the sweet smell of belladonna and the feverish hallucinations of amanita.
Promising almost certain death, especially if you were as surrounded by deadly individuals as Bel but the control...
He needs it.
No, he's not a psychopath, though almost everyone he's shown his true nature to seems to believe so.
No, he's just learned that only way to get anything, anything that could make him not terrified that one day he'd be tossed aside just lie those he once knew, is to find something that matters to the other party even more.
The only way to keep himself safe is to make someone else know that they aren't, and it's something he trusts as much as he trusts that 2 + 2 = 4.
Almost scarier than how unattached he is from compassion is how you will almost never see anything less than complete calm and happiness on his face through his body language. He never yells, never does anything that would clearly label him as unhinged.
You really would never know.
He knows a secret about each of the spies he had ever worked with. Something that could absolutely ruin them and the lives of those they care about. Ever since he was toddler, he knew that if you didn't have some kind of power or leverage over the ones who decided what your life was, you were as good as that dead ground chicken in the Mess Hall food. A carcass that they would eat up without a moment's hesitation.
He knows things about the other teachers of course too, nothing that he would use unless he absolutely had too. Even he had some sense of fondness and loyalty to those he grew up with since he was deemed "a success" for the school when he had been attending. They weren't immune... just safer than everyone else.

TW(view spoiler)[One of the eldest kids of his biological family, Bel was born terrified of his own shadow and the weapons his parents had expected him to craft his whole future out of, surrounded by stacks and stacks of textbooks on spying that he was forced to memorize every 4-5 weeks. He was constantly petrified that he'd be sent away like his older brother and sister... the ones that looked so much like him that he could picture perfectly the expressions on their faces on his own. It came to a point where he was so scared of getting attached after his twin sister was sent away too, that he would lock himself up in the dark of his room... he was even scared of the dark and his own shadow for a good while. He was scared of everything. The thuds of his parents' footfalls he anticipated late at night and early in the morning to drag him out for more training and experiments... The sight of blood, especially when they made him "practice" on his other siblings...
He was scared of anything and everything until one day... he just couldn't take it anymore. He almost destroyed his whole room, coming extremely close to doing something he would regret until his parents shocked him to near paralysis, leaving him sitting in the dark for any time from a day to three, getting barely any food or water.
No one really knew how he could've changed so much after that... but he was just so sick of being scared.
He turned more apathetic, coldly observing until he got his first piece of horrible life-ruining information... and built upon it until, next to the most powerful people, he was the most influential person in the whole school when he attended, taking on a warm and safe energy that made everyone trust him and using his power to make them let him undergo top and bottom surgery and get whatever little things he wanted. They never really understood that the type of genius he inherited from his parents wasn't just academic or geared towards being an avenger or builder like they expected. No, he was much more than that.
Some part of him is still that scared little little boy who sobs at night and desperately longs for someone to look at him and see a person, and deep into the night when he doesn't sense anyone else is near, he'll give into that little boy and cry and cry and cry until he's reached his emotional limit for the week and uses concealer to get rid of the redness. He still feels emotions, still is trying his hardest to get out of the place, but he's far from stupid. It's part of the reason why he has any worth anyways, his prodigal intelligence. He knows that whatever his parents deign to give him in this place is altogether a speck of dust compared to what he needs to truly get out of this place. So he's just biding his time... waiting for the right millisecond when he can finally break free and never ever look back. (hide spoiler)]
