Immortal in Death by JD Robb - 4 stars

As Eve and Roarke's wedding approaches, Mavis drags Eve to meet with the new man in her life who is a up and coming fashion designer. All goes well until his ex, a famous model, appears with violence and threats and soon after turns up murdered in his design studio leaving Mavis in a very bad situation. Eve must save her friend from being charged with the murder, deal with her own history which is coming back in waves and nightmares and plan for a wedding.

The story was good with fun characters and scenes. I love how supportive Roarke is of Eve and the deepening friendships that Eve is opening herself up to. I figured out the culprit quite early on but enjoyed the unfolding of the how and the why. I look forward reading more of the series but at a leisurely pace.
