Ok I gotta say I love Annie's quick wit about her. She is a tough one, I can tell, but I know she is gonna have a softer side, the side she has to protect.

Yes I really love Annie! I feel the same way. While reading her singing parts, I can feel that she is singing it. I read that the audiobook is great.
I love the writing style and the short chapters.
I am on chapter 18. My spoiler is through chapter 11.
(view spoiler)[Annie has had a hard life when she was young she slept outside with her Mom in a truck. Then she hitchhikes ad I was so worried she was going to get raped. She is a spitfire for sure.
Then she is homeless and slept on the ground.
Its so sad for someone who is trying to get ahead. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 29 (view spoiler)[Yes I was not expecting that either. I remember Ruthann (I know I spelled her name wrong) but told her to stay away from some man. I think it might be that man and his friend.
When she hitchhiked she stole that man's truck so he will be probably will be going after her too later. (hide spoiler)]This is suppose to be a thriller so I think its going to get even better soon.
I am now on chptr 30.

I don't feel like that man Ruthanna mentioned, the record producer, has anything to do with the attack on AnnieLee, I think it has something to do with someone from back home, since the synopsis says she is on the run. So not sure if the truck driver will play into either. We will just have to wait and see.

Annie needs to accept help sometimes. She is not being very smart.

Ethan just wants some answers and it ends up with her letting him know that she does not need him. Really? Is she out of her mind considering a truck was just tailing them? (hide spoiler)]

I ended up having too help my sister in law and her husband move along with my mother in law. They are all moving tomorrow.
I just got done packing every thing so I am going to start reading again. I am only on chapter 32. I am so sorry. They told us a couple of days ago that they didnt need us but ended up needing us.
I will have to move them tomorrow too and not sure if I will have the internet.
I wasnt expecting this at all. Again I am sorry but I will post something after I finish reading some tonight.

Read to chpter 41. Had lots of interruptions but I cant believe that (view spoiler)[Annalee was even thinking about Mike helping her with the music industry after Ruthanna warned her about him. I couldnt believe that Mike threatened someone with a gun if they didnt play someone's song.
So sad that he broke up Ruthanna's daughters relationship and she died by taking pills.
I hope now that Annalee stays away from Mike. He seems to be very dangerous.
I know! I cant believe the 2 guys showed up again. Something to do with her past.. Lucky Ethan showed up and protected her or she would of been really hurt. I really like Ethan and hope that they get together. I now know that Mike has nothing to do with this. I now think she is Rose too! (hide spoiler)] I agree she is not very smart.
I am really loving this one. I want to read your spoiler so I wil try to read to Chapter 51.

I totally agree with you! (view spoiler)[She is so stubborn! She knows she has two strangers after her and after Ethan took off she ends up hitchiking. I know the 2 strangers are going to pick her up. (hide spoiler)]

I am enjoying it but its not really exciting. I hope it starts getting exciting. I need some kind of action. I cant see Dolly writing a thriller. So we know that she wrote the first half so I think James Patterson will be writing the second half and then it will turn into a thriller. I hope!

I dont think we will be moving all day. So I will be reading it tomortow afternoon sometime.

I think the story is really good either way. It is true though, not enough thriller parts. I guess we will see how this wraps up.

Overall I enjoyed this story, but I feel like it was more about survival than thriller. I have to say though that the 'thriller' aspects of the book were very well done and very good.

Wow! This was really good. I would say that the genre is domestic suspense. Ethan, Ruthanna and Annalise all had a terrible past. You were right. Annalise's real name was Rose. I felt so sorry for Rose. She had such a horrific past. This was so different than what I usually read but I really enjoyed it. Thanks for the buddy read!
I really loved the flow too.

We ended up moving for 15 hrs. yesterday and I hurt all over. We didnt get done until midnight and then I went straight to bed.

I am so glad you liked it Mary. I agree domestic suspense fits this story perfectly. And in the audio book, Dolly does Ruthanna's part. So I thought that was cool.
