I didn’t realize Those Across the River was his first book. It’s my favorite audiobook.

This is one of my favorite books. I love Buehlman and everything he's written so far. This was great on audio too. I've never read anything like it or before, or since.

Woot! I’m definitely down for this! It sounds amazing, and right up my alley. Love any kind of death, demon, hell anything so i’m definitely there. Maybe my library will have a kindle copy, but if not - worth a buy!

Nice! I have the Audible, so I may join in for a re-read.

If you buy the Kindle edition for $7.99 you can add the Audible for an add 7.49. That's still a pretty good price considering the costs of most audio books.

I finished Between Two Towers. I can't say if I know how I felt about it. the writing was stellar, the characters deep/well thought out, there are some really excellent threads that tie together well.

however, I am not sure how to take the religiosity of the work. is it a plot device? is it meant to make me see the error of my ways and turn to God? is it tongue and cheek? I really have no idea as the entire thing is about religious people trying to achieve a goal for the good of their religion***

Yep, I have devoured every Buehlmann book I could get my hands on since then. That dude can write.
