The banner really appealed to me because I had just come home from seeing the opera "Orpheus in the Underworld". It is a very funny satire of operas and of mythology. A big part of it is the gods who are bored on Mt. Olympus, decide to revolt and visit Hades for a change, where they party and dance the cancan (this is the source of the famous cancan music.) The banner looks just like some of the scenes!
