She nodded quietly. "Alright, thank you." She said. She glanced over at Jeremy when she heard the scribbles before looking back at the teacher. "If possible, can you write down what materials I need? Like textbooks and such. I wasn't sure what I would need so I didn't get anything?" she asked. She needed to know what textbooks she needed to get since she'd be studying from them.

Hitoshi opened a drawer in his desk and grabbed a paper from inside. He closed the drawer as he stood up. "I done that yesterday, I figured you'd like a list" He stated as he walked over to her, handing her the paper.

(( Oh yes, ford ))
She took it and glanced over it quickly. She nodded. "Thank you, Shinsou sensei." She said, pulling a thin folder from her bag and placing the paper carefully inside. She seemed pretty organized, for someone so lazy. She glanced back toward Ford, the only other person in the classroom. "I thought you didn't have a class this period?" She asked, glancing back up at the teacher. She tilted her head as she asked, though, her expression remained the same.

Her eyes darted over to the boy once he said that before turning her eyes back towards Hitoshi. "He doesn't look injured. Did he destroy a building or something during the training? Or did he start a fight with another student?" She asked. U.A. was notorious for having very destructive students, so naturally, those were the scenarios that came to her mind. She knew the second years would be doing some training right now, and well, those were the only things that would come to mind as to why he would be kicked out the class. She was rather blunt, not bothering to hold back.

She sighed as well upon hearing that. Honestly, the thought of how much repairs would cost gave her a headache, even though it wasn't her job. She's once seen damage reports before for the school, and oh god. they were high. "Don't the students know that there is no point in winning if you destroy the whole city to do it?" She muttered, pinching the bridge of her nose. She sounded more like a stressed-out teacher than a student. It was true. Defeating the enemy is good and all, but destroying buildings and such costs the city a lot of money and people lose their homes that way. Citizens often get caught in the rubble as well. It's one of the first things she was taught growing up, due to how destructive her flame power is. "So, what's his quirk? We'll be in the same grade together next year, so I might as well know." She asked. It was true. Everyone was already training with each other so they were learning each other's quirks, leaving her at a disadvantage for when she moves up. She's rather eliminate any possible issues though, since she didn't plan on failing her third year simply because she could formulate possible strategies to beating her classmates in training or when formulating plans. She would eventually get to know all of their quirks, though, she would start with this one. She wore a hoodie tied around her waist, which was hiding her tail. She used to not mind having her tail out, but since the incident, she keeps it hidden. She's not comfortable having it out in the open. she was paranoid and believed it was dangerous, as if someone could take it from her at any moment. she also didn't like others touching her tail, also due to the trauma from that incident. She didn't seem like she really cared anymore, but small actions like that usually clued her mother in.

She heard what he said, and honestly, it kind of irked her. "and that's my problem, how? If you can't control your quirks, then learn how to." She responded rather rudely. She didn't really care about his issues. Honestly, she didn't really ask either. Despite her rude tone, her expressions didn't really change. However, now she was looking directly at him. She made it seem as though it was that easy. It was something she would have hated to hear when she was younger, firmly believing that only prodigies had the right to say that as everything cam naturally to them.

She sighed once more. "Even if that is the case, just train harder to get better control. Even if your quirk DNA is unstable, there are still ways to improve control. It's not really an excuse. Otherwise, why even bother trying to be a hero? if you use that as a crutch and excuse to excuse your not being able to control yourself, why are you even trying to become a hero? You'd just do more harm than good. Recklessly going after villains isn't being a hero, it's called being an idiot." She said bluntly, not really caring whether or not she hurt his feelings. "If you aren't trying to use it as a crutch, then I have no idea why you would even mention it. Mentioning it in response just seems like an excuse and doesn't really look that great on you as someone who wants to be a hero. Heroes can't make excuses like that, even if they are suffering from something. Because even if they want to, by becoming a hero they took that responsibility on themselves." She told him. She wasn't really holding back her punches, despite the teacher being right there. She glanced back at the teacher. He was older than her and could probably take her down with ease, but she didn't lower her gaze nor soften it. She wasn't afraid of being reprimanded nor was she going not going to say what she had to say. "If he overworked himself and the quirks, shouldn't he have better control then? or was he just working on making them stronger blindly than working on actually controlling them?" she asked. "Even if he can't control it, his quirk allows him to copy quirks right? Then he just needs to think of better ways to use those quirks he copies. Or, train them both until he can control them. He might have not have had his quirk since he was little, but they are still his so he has to be responsible for them." she said. She didn't change her tone, even when talking to the teacher. She wasn't really trying to be disrespectful, she just had really strong opinions. "I don't see why teachers are so keen for making excuses for their students." She added soon after. She's experienced this before. Teachers ignoring the situation and forgiving the student or not holding them accountable for anything. She was used to playing the villain, so it didn't bother her anymore.

(DAAAAAAAM! Ford being a badass!!)

"I know what it is, jack*ss. Like I said, it's just another excuse. Sure, that may be the case, but tell me. Will you be able to use that excuse in two years when you graduate and become a hero? or when you start internships. When you are on the field. Do you think that no one will hold you responsible if you just say that? They'll just laugh it off and tell you 'It's alright. It's out of your control.'" She said, glaring at him. "Not being able to control your quirk is not something you can simply laugh off. It endangers other people's lives and I can assure you people will care more about that than the feelings of some teenagers. It's not something you'll just get a small warning for and be let free. I'm not the one you'll be needing to give excuses to when someone gets injured because of you." She said. She glanced toward the teacher, the same glare still evident. "I'm not the one who decided it was time to make excuses and get upset on a small comment that someone said to themself." She said. "And you can keep me with my current class, I don't really care. I was only doing it because Toru wanted me to. I honestly don't care about getting ahead. Especially not when I'll have to be in a class that shows such obvious favoritism. Just because he has 'potential' as you put it. 'Potential' will get him nowhere in the world. The villains won't care about his little problem or how much potential he has. The world won't. Let me guess. You and the other teachers are going to let it slide, even though he destroyed a building during a training exercise? which, by the way, is going overboard, even if he can't control his quirk." She said. Her tone was sharp. She was tired of hearing excuses for other people. Excuses were just excuses.

Ford Young: Quirk: Copy combo: Allows him to copy and combine quirks but at the cost of physical pain to those he copies from and extreme physical strain on his body.

"Oh uh, yes, I can help you then" Hitoshi's hand returned to the back of his neck, surprised by the conversation he brought up. He continued on the paper work for the building that was ruined.

She hissed, eyes widening, hard scales covering her arm where he touched it. They were sharp and as hard as diamonds. She glared up at him, biting her lower lip as her tail swished at him. She was ready to set him on fire when he let go. She didn't howl in pain, though it hurt. "let me guess, you are going to let him get away with that too?" She asked, turning toward the teacher. "Honestly, someone who recklessly uses their quirk on people just because of a few words doesn't deserve to be a hero. You may not have liked that I've spoken my mind, but at least I never attempted to hurt someone." She hissed, glaring daggers at Ford. Her tail was no longer hiding anymore, swishing around violently, showcasing her current mood. "I didn't realize people deserved to be attacked just for speaking their mind. Though, at least we know you need to work on controlling your anger too, not just your quirks. And no, Hitoshi sensei, what I've said wouldn't have changed if I were in his shoes because I wouldn't be making excuses for my lack of competence, I'd work harder rather than telling everyone about the reasons why I can't." She said. That's exactly what she had done. If she hadn't learned to control her quirk by now, she probably would have set the entire class on fire and burned even the ashes, herself included.
She looked back towards the kid before her. "I might seem like some entitled 'brat', but I don't resort to violence when a conversation doesn't go the way I want. Nor was I lying. Have you ever been face to face with a villain? Scenario. You are a hero and you are there to save hostages. You are in an unstable building and there are women and children amongst the hostages. The villain is stronger than you. Do you think if you tell them your little sob story that they'll stop? Or that they'll care about who you respect? What will you do? Lose control? The building would collapse and there will be a lot of casualties. Or will you kill the villain out of anger? Are you going to justify the murder to everyone by saying there was nothing you could do just because you couldn't think of another alternative? All I'm doing is being realistic, not living in some LaLa land where I'll believe everything will turn out well just because I meant well." She said. Her shoulder was slumped down a bit, she could still feel the pain and her scales have yet to disappear. The air around her had cooled down though, as it had previously been boiling hot when he had touched her. Honestly, the situation disgusted her. She didn't like most teachers and this one wasn't an exception. This was exactly what she was talking about. The kid attacks someone and he gets a pat on the head. Nothing happens. Was it because he 'meant' well? If that's the case, then murder would be alright too, right? Torture? Just because he meant well. It made her sick to her stomach. Her face was pale. She scoffed. "I expected more from the top hero school. Though, I guess even in the top school, if a teacher likes a student they can get away with anything." She said. She was certainly a prideful one. Even though she was in pain, even though they were talking as if nothing happened just now, she wasn't crying or showing that she was in pain. Instead, the flame on her tail was still bright and hot. After being attacked, it was no wonder. How could she feel safe in the presence of someone who resorted to violence just because she disrespected the teacher just a bit? Just because he respected the man? Or around a teacher who did nothing in response but asked him to stop? A teacher who just allowed the situation to pass like that just because.

Ford just looked at her a moment, then used her own quirk against her...literally.

(( can you be more specific? lol
what he do?
her quirk kind of relies on her tail completely, so in order to use any aspect of her quirk, he'd have to grow a tail first lol

She hissed at the teacher. "He still attacked me regardless, even if he did back off. And he's doing it again. I guess I was right, you are just giving him excuses." she said, completely unbothered by the flames. Her tail simply absorbed them. It was her flames he was using and her body was used to taking far worse heat. Her tail flicked in front of her. Using her own quirk against her wouldn't work in the slightest.

(With Ford's version it's more he copies the DNA of the quirk, then warps it into a version he can use. In other words if her quirk came from her tail, for Ford it comes from his fist. In other words it makes a temporary variant of the quirk. It's why the OG user's quirk usually restarts in ten seconds, and why the vain's appear.)
