Cover Story question

So I think the end of part 1 is the end of Lora actually talking/writing. Internship ends 8/11, accident happens 8/13 (drunk driving), parents write NYU on 8/16, she emails her brother on 8/23– then she takes over the diary completely on 8/24 and there is no second person at all.

Thoughts?!

In one of the chapters, I think it's mentioned that Lora is leaving a party drunk, and I think this is when she has the accident that leaves her in a coma - the one her parents talk about in the final letter. Then Cat takes her identity

I understand that Cat/Olesya/Sophia etc stole Lora's identification at some point. So it was or wasn't Lora coming to the FBI to be interviewed? Looking back at the dates of the last 135 pages, it is from February-July 2018 (6 months) so none of the diary entrances are actually the real Lora because she is already in a coma? I'm thinking Cat is just continuing the whole diary writing for Lora to cover her bases. In fact, did Lora ever even move in with Cat? Or is all that a false reality? Thoughts?

Carly is right. That's the reason for the part 2 - Cat takes over Lora's identity at that point. Remember, she already has the stories that Lora sent her, as well as her W9, passport, etc. Everything after that is just Cat.
