Adrienne | 21 comments Sorry, I tried to read this book but it was so trashy and the language so disgusting, I couldn't read even half of it. So, warning, watch the miniseries on Netflix. They actually cleaned it up for television a little. I would classify this book soft porn, to be honest. Just sayin".

Danielle (reading.w.kenz_n_dee) (daniyellers) | 16 comments YOU was such a crazy ride! It's scary to think how someone can utilize the technology that we have today to infiltrate and submerse themselves into your life so easily. How, when living in a larger city, some people can cease to exist when hidden amongst others. That prickly feeling you get sometimes when it feel like someone is watching you… what if they are?

Caroline Kepnes was so good at balancing the dark side of Joe with the unlikable actions of Beck; the logic behind Joe's actions mixed with the lies told by Beck.

Ashleigh Motbey (ashybear02) | 1686 comments I forgot to mention I finished this a couple of days ago. I agree that it was a crazy ride and really creepy. But I liked that it was creepy. I would have been mad if the author had tried to romanticise it. I like that she didn't do that and but Joe in a really bad image.

Beck wasn't a stand out human either though which made it even more interesting.

I gave it 3.5 stars.
