Dear Alejandra, I am in awe that you can be a medical student and still have time to read and review books! My newly published book is a memoir entitled "An Angel, a Book, and a Secret." It's the story of my spiritual journey, a winding path that for a time settled into atheism. At a critical moment, I called on the God in whom I no longer believed and was led to an encounter with the principles that make both God and spiritual reality comprehensible. I could send you an EPUB file if you wish. Thanks! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL2VPQ4Y/

Life After Promiscuity: A BDSM Love Story

A REAL-LIFE JOURNEY INSIDE THE BDSM SCENE

Dorothy Freed has been involved in the BDSM scene since the 1970s. In this memoir she writes openly, nostalgically, and lyrically about exploring her sexuality, including her experiences as a submissive and a Domme in a decades-long committed D/s relationship. This collection of interlinked vignettes gives the reader a front row seat to her diverse kinky adventures, providing sexually charged anecdotes that shed light on BDSM and her observations and reflections about the lifestyle. It is laced with humor, warmth, and rich descriptions of San Francisco and The Scene as it progressed over many years. It’s a celebration that proves that you’re never too old for passion.

Heidi Ennis (heidiennis) | 5 comments Hello. Anyone out there interested in reviewing my new Christian Historical Romance novel set in the 1880's in my home state of Washington along the Columbia River? If so, I'd love to connect.

Here's the little Amazon blurb:
Johanna Amalia Nilsdotter Oman, a young Swedish immigrant, has found herself all alone in America and has come too far to turn back now. Her only option is to make her way across the country and then the two hundred miles up the mighty Columbia River to the settlement of Lyle where her father purchased a homestead with dreams of owning his own sawmill.

John, a man stuck between two worlds, has a plan to walk away from life, to lose himself in the mountains of Washington Territory and never see a soul again. Shame and regret eat at his heart, and he cannot face the pain of his past. His only option? To die alone in those mountains.

But first, as a mountain guide, he’s been hired to lead an immigrant man named Nils Oman into the foothills above the Columbia River. The $20 promise of payment is his ticket out of this life.

But God had a different plan. A plan of redemption. A plan of healing, and a path to love again.

Thank you!
Heidi xoxo

Jason Gabriel | 3 comments Hello Book Reviewers!

I have the first book in my Fantasy trilogy up on Amazon. It's on Kindle unlimited, and will probably stay unlimited for 3 or 4 more months. So if you have Kindle Unlimited it's free, Also looking to run a price promotion on the Ebook sometime around 2/29.

I'd love to get more reviews. One reviewer called it a "dark fantasy". I honestly think the reviews on Amazon do a better job of describing the book than my blurb does. It's very character/plot driven.

Here's the link if anybody is interested.

The Descendant: Shards Book One

Drop me a friend/follower request, if you want to be notified when I release book 2. I'm about 1/3 of the way thru the first draft, I plan on having it out by May (if my cats would stop walking on the keyboard!)

At any rate, thanks in advance for anybody who has time to read/review it!

C.W. Lovatt (cwlovatt) | 21 comments Hello all,

I hope you’ll consider reviewing my latest novel, and winner of the Literary Titan Golden Book Award, “Yuri & the Pig” (87,000 words [282 pages] published by Wild Wolf Publishing on September 1, 2023), a work of fiction based on the current war in Ukraine. However, the countries involved are fictitious, too.

Some excerpts from editorial reviews:
“C W Lovatt's storytelling is masterful…” ~ Readers’ Favorite
“Lovatt's novel is a literary gem …” ~ A Look Inside
“A genuinely thought-provoking novel, it beckons readers to reflect on the intricate dance of life, growth, and self-discovery.” ~ Literary Titan

The following is the blurb:

“From the best-selling author of the Charlie Smithers adventures.

A farmer and his pig set off on an extraordinary quest across war-torn Eastern Europe.

Entangled in a savage war, the country of Xoraina is fighting for its very existence; but to Yuri, a simple peasant from a remote mountain village, it seems all but certain that the invading Zlaimperians must ultimately prevail. Not that it is of any consequence to him, of course. In Yuri’s view, every form of government is equally bad, so it makes very little difference who holds the reins of power. Indeed, throughout time, the only things that have ever really mattered are that the soil be tilled, the cows milked, and the pigs shipped to market, all in a timely fashion.

But when an exorbitant new tax threatens that philosophy, he sets off with his pig across the war-ravaged land to the Capital in order to fight the injustice. In the process, their journey becomes a road to a terrible enlightenment, causing Yuri to question his deeply seated beliefs. But only when he and his pig find themselves placed squarely in destiny’s path is there any hope of those questions finding answers.”

If interested, please contact me at clovatt@xplornet.ca and I’ll arrange for you to receive an e-copy in the format you prefer.

Thank you for your time.

B.H Ariks | 5 comments Hi Alejandra,

I'm a new author looking for some good honest feedback. My work is in the romantic erotica genre, but I'm struggling to define it otherwise.

My story follows a disabled veteran, Kinsley Nyx Knight. It is a plausible fantasy that takes place in a mirrored realm of elf human hybrids in the modern age. There are three parts about 60k words a piece for the why choose, reverse harem/ poly tale. The story at it's heart is a romance, that focuses on the weak to strong journey of Nyx. A dark comedy that introduces readers to concepts of overcoming trauma, disabilities, BDSM and group dynamics. Smut with an educational twist I suppose, touching on darker themes balanced with the lighter ones. It does include organized crime as well as straight, gay, and bisexual interactions with the main cast.

If you are interested in giving the first book a try, please let me know. Thank you :)

Koby Bowie | 2 comments Hi, all,
My name is Koby L. Bowie, and I am a new author out of Oklahoma City, OK. Last year, I released my debut novel, titled 1842. It is a story about two black boys growing up in OKC, playing baseball and navigating through their individual traumas. To see their lives beautifully intertwine is something I hope readers will never forget. Common themes: fatherlessness, anger, abandonment, co-dependency, baseball (of course), financial freedom, faith in Jesus, hope, love. Very strong Christian message, but it does not tip-toe around reality. Some language and sexual situations throughout (nothing beyond PG-13). A great read for teens and young adults. Available on KU! Paperback running for $14.98, hardcover for $21.98. If you are interested, or know someone who would be, please follow/share the link I've attached below. Thanks so much!

Hi Alejandra,

My name is Francesca and I wrote a New Adult/Coming-Of-Age book called Seven Perfect Days. It's about how friendships can be heartbreaking and the endless possibilities of youth. It is not difficult to read, but it is long (100,000 words) and there are times where it feels like you don't know where on earth it is going, but I do and it is a very interesting ride.

E. C. | 5 comments Hi, Alejandra! My book is called The Originals by E. C. and I need an ARC done by July 20th if that's okay. Give me your email and I can send you a link to the google docs of my manuscript. Thanks.

DESC:

Fans of Get Even and Pretty Little Liars will devour The Originals, a dark academia novel that shows the wilder and darker side of secrets and the past.

Orchid Gray writes exposés on the bad students of Silverleaf Academy alongside Stoll Finnegan and Saira Levine, known as the Originals. From the outside, she's just mousy and quiet Orchid Gray. On the inside, she's @shadesofgray.
They work together with their "insurance treaty"---they have to share a deadly secret with each other to make sure one doesn't go off running their mouth. When Orchid's beloved teacher, Professor Green, is found dead and labelled as a suicide, she doesn't believe this ruse. Furthermore, dark things are happening at the school's gothic literature club that can not be a coincidence; Professor Green's death was seemingly inspired by a work of gothic literature. When murders pile on with the club being connected back, with the Originals' own secrets at risk, can they solve the trail of mysteries at Silverleaf Academy?

Uduak Smart | 21 comments Please read the Introduction of my book titled " The Favored Maid" and tell me if you would like to read the full book.

In the heart of Australia, amidst the bustling city streets and verdant countryside, there existed a tale as old as time—a story of resilience, ambition, and the unbreakable bonds of family. It was a tale that had been whispered in hushed tones for generations, passed down from parent to child like a cherished heirloom, its details embellished with each retelling until it had taken on a life of its own. And though the names and faces may have changed over the years, the essence of the story remained the same—a testament to the enduring power of the human spirit to overcome even the greatest of adversities.
At the center of this tale stood a young girl named Aliana, her story woven into the fabric of the Smith family legacy like a delicate thread in a tapestry of dreams and aspirations. Orphaned at a young age and left to fend for herself in a world that had often been cruel and unforgiving, Aliana had weathered the storms of uncertainty and hardship with a grace and dignity that belied her tender years. And though her path had been fraught with challenges and obstacles, she had faced them with a strength and determination that had earned her the admiration and respect of all who knew her.
But it was not until she crossed paths with Mr. Kelvin Smith—a wealthy and generous man with a heart of gold—that Aliana's life truly began to change. Mr. Kelvin had seen something special in the young girl, a spark of greatness that burned bright despite the darkness that threatened to engulf her. And so, he had taken her under his wing, welcoming her into his home and his heart with open arms, determined to give her the chance at a better life that she so rightfully deserved.
Yet, as fate would have it, Aliana's newfound fortune came with its own set of challenges, chief among them being the resentment and jealousy of Mrs. Cynthia Smith, Mr. Kelvin's wife. Though Mr. Kelvin had welcomed Aliana into the family with open arms, Mrs. Cynthia viewed her presence as a threat to her own status and privilege, relegating her to the role of maid and treating her with a coldness and disdain that cut deep.
But Aliana was not one to be deterred by the petty grievances of others. With a resilience born of years spent navigating the treacherous waters of adversity, she had set out to prove herself worthy of the trust and confidence that Mr. Kelvin had placed in her. And prove herself she did, rising through the ranks of the household with a grace and poise that left even her harshest critics in awe.
As the years passed, Aliana grew into a woman of remarkable talents and abilities, her intelligence and drive surpassing even that of Mr. Kelvin's own children. She proved herself to be a capable and dedicated assistant, accompanying Mr. Kelvin on his business dealings and using her extraordinary abilities to help the company thrive in ways that no one could have imagined.

But it was not until the untimely passing of Mr. Kelvin that Aliana's true mettle was put to the test. With the fate of the company hanging in the balance and Mr. Kelvin's children showing little or no interest in their father's legacy, Aliana stepped forward to take on the mantle of leadership, determined to honor Mr. Kelvin's memory and build a future for the company that he had loved so dearly.

And so, with courage and determination, Aliana forged ahead, navigating the complexities of business and marriage with a grace and poise that belied her tender years. Alongside her husband, Canny, she faced the challenges of running a company head-on, using her wit and intelligence to overcome even the greatest of obstacles.
But it was not just in the boardroom that Aliana's influence was felt. Through her philanthropic efforts and commitment to giving back to the community, she made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals, proving herself to be not just a capable leader, but a compassionate and empathetic one as well.

As the years passed and the Smith Corporation continued to thrive under her leadership, Aliana looked back on her journey with a sense of pride and fulfillment. She had overcome every challenge that had been thrown her way, rising from the ashes of adversity to become the beacon of hope and inspiration that she was today.
And though the road ahead may still be fraught with challenges and obstacles, Aliana faced the future with a sense of optimism and determination, knowing that with her unwavering courage and the support of her loved ones by her side, there was nothing that she could not achieve.

For hers was a story of triumph and resilience—a tale of a young girl who had risen from the ashes of adversity to become the favored maid of the Smith family, and in doing so, had changed the course of her own destiny forever. And as her story continued to unfold, it served as a reminder to us all that no matter how dark the night may seem, there is always hope to be found in the light of a new day.

Jennie Van Eeden | 2 comments Hello,

I am looking for reviewers for my YA vampire romance book, Unhidden.

Perfect for fans of Twilight, and Hush, Hush, embark on a journey where blood runs cold and passion burns hot in this gripping vampire romance.
If we only live once, I want to live with you.
In the town of Port Angeles, seventeen-year-old Janelle Lynch returns with her family. The shadows of her absent father still weigh heavily on her heart, refusing to release their grip.
But everything changes when the enigmatic Nick Moon, her next-door neighbor, enters her life. With an air of mystery surrounding him and his intriguing family, Janelle’s curiosity is piqued, driving her to uncover the hidden secrets that lie waiting to be unveiled.

Yet, as Janelle explores the depths of Port Angeles, a stranger from the shadows keeps creeping her path. Though, she’s not sure if this person is a friend or foe.

Combining the intoxicating allure of passion, love, and romance with an irresistible touch of whimsical fantasy, Unhidden captivates readers on an emotional rollercoaster. This supernatural tale intertwines the bonds of family amidst a backdrop of mystery that will stir your soul and leave you longing for more.

PS, I have other books too available on amazon if you interested in fantasy romance.

Hi Alejandra, You have an interesting first name. I'm Frank Mottl: www.frankwayne.net. I'd like to get my first novel reviewed by you if you're interested. It's about 50K words, a 'combo' of prose and poetry, with strong elements of 'magic realism':

"The Cumberland Tales", the author's hometown, inspired this novel that has magic realist twists, mysticism, nostalgia, and small town characters, the tales tap you on the shoulder, and invite you inside. My email is: frankwaynemottl@shaw.ca.

Howard Gelmich | 1 comments Hi Alejandra,
I have just published a book called "Rainbow Meadows." It is a fantasy adventure novel for young people from 8 to 13 years of age. Although, I think that adults can enjoy the story too.

Like the books "Charlotte's Web," "Duncton Wood" and "Watership Down," my book centres around animal characters. The main themes focus on the protagonist's quest to find love, family and friendship.

Here is a link to the book's page on Goodreads, where you can find out a little bit more about the story: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Here is a link to the Amazon sales page: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CXM3L582

If you would like to review the book, please email me or reply on this thread, and I can send you an e-book copy. My email is: howardg1901@gmail.com
