30.2 - TessaVanessa's Task: Consonant Clusters

Some of the most common 2-letter consonant clusters are: bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, sl, br, cr, dr, fr, gr, pr, tr, sc, sk, sm, sn, sp, st, sw, tw.

Book 1: Read a book by an author with initials (first name then last name, ignore middle initials) that form one of these sound clusters. State the cluster used when posting.

Book 2: Read a book with a word in the title only (not subtitle) that begins with the same sound cluster as used in Book 1. State the word.

Example:
Book 1: Bonfire at Squash Long Creek by Christopher Liberty (cl is the cluster)
Book 2: The Girl on the Cliff . CLiff is the word.

Brooke | 1109 comments For book 1, do the initials have to be in the same order as the consonant cluster? For example, could author Peter Swanson be used for SP?

The initials need to be in the same order as cluster.
