Yes alternate history is fine as long as the year/s are clearly stated. So 1632 would work.
For option one do the letters need to be found in either the title OR the subtitle or can they be spread across both?
Florence wrote: "For option one do the letters need to be found in either the title OR the subtitle or can they be spread across both?"They can be spread across both. I know K isn't the most common letter :)
Cindie, I will go with the default rule about setting and as long as at least 50% of the book takes place in the 1930s it will work.
For option 4, I don't see that the book has to be nonfiction. If that is true, can I get The Mutual Friend noted for Science as an MPG. It is a newer book with not as many tags yet, but Science is currently on the list toward the bottom so I don't want it to disappear if I can use it here.

Thank you!
Thank you!
Could you please verify Sea of Glory: America's Voyage of Discovery, the U.S. Exploring Expedition, 1838-1842 for Option 4- MPG Science? Thanks

For Option 5. Would a book first published in 1932/33 work for "set in the 1930s"?I'm thinking of Stamboul Train.
There's nothing I can see in the description which says that the setting isn't contemporary to the publication date.

I love my in-laws so much! They are retired RV people now and one of their favorite places to go is Santa Fe, New Mexico. For their 50th wedding anniversary in 2019, the whole fam went to Santa Fe and now it is one of my favorite places too! We have been twice since the anniversary trip and I love it more every time!
This is a two book task. Please choose two different options and specify which options you used in your post.
Option 1 - When we visit New Mexico, we stay at the KOA in Santa Fe - read a book where the letters KOA can be found in the title and/or subtitle. The letters need not be found together, just anywhere in the title/subtitle.
Option 2 - Every time I am in Santa Fe I love to shop for jewelry. It is crazy how much beautiful silver jewelry is in Santa Fe. Read a book with the word SILVER intact in title/subtitle/series title or author’s name. (Adam Silvera, The Silvered Serpents)
Option 3 - Another thing we love about Santa Fe is all the turquoise! My husband makes jewelry so we always visit the Cerrillos Trading Post on the Turquoise Trail and buy some turquoise. Read a book with a cover that is 75% blue and/or green according to Tineye. So your cover can be 75%+ blue OR 75%+ green OR a combination of blue and green that adds up to at least 75% (15% blue and 60% green for example).
This may be useful - How Do I Use Tineye?
Required: Post your blue/green Tineye %
Option 4 - 109 East Palace on the Plaza was the Santa Fe headquarters of Robert Oppenheimer while he developed the atomic bomb. Read a book with an MPG of science (may be embedded).
Option 5 - Get your Kicks on Route 66! Historic Route 66 passes through Santa Fe. US 66 served as a primary route for those who migrated west, especially during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s - Read a book set in the 1930s.
Option 6 - Chilis! No trip to New Mexico would be complete without ingesting copious amounts of chilis. Our favorite place to eat chili is The Shed. The Shed is located in Prince Patio, an adobe hacienda that dates back to 1692. Read a book that is set in the 1600s
