Adrian | 7 comments Hi, my name is Adrian and I am a writer of Middle-Grade. This isn't a promotion, since my book is not published. I would like to request for a parent to read my book with his/her/their child/children and tell me what they and/or their children think of my book, is it boring/exciting at certain parts, how did your child react? Are they interested? Are they bored? Is the beginning weak?

Details on my novel:

Title: The Groundworld Heroes
Genre: Middle-Grade Fantasy Animal Fiction
Length: About 27000 words
Book Format: Google Docs
Trigger Warnings: Animals Suffering, Mild Violence
Blurb: Benjamin is a mole living the good life in Soiland, an underground kingdom of animals, until humans attack. When President Mr. Hare orders the Mole Digger Team to dig a subway that connects to a world created by their ancestors decades ago, Benjamin joins in the digging and finds a thread of emerald. He sneaks off to a laboratory to examine the worth of the emerald, and on his way back, saves a meerkat named Conner who is trapped under a fence. But when they return to the evacuation zone, everyone is gone. Now Benjamin and Conner must embark on a journey to find the tunnel where the animals of Soiland are in despite the humans lurking around every corner or else they'll be caught and traded away for treasures.

Hi Adrian. You're in the right place to write about your own books anyway, so well done! You might copy your request into the Read4Review area, although people may read both, I don't know. Oh, you already have!!

What age children are you looking for? (Middle Grade I know, but I just recruited my 9 year old beta readers to give me feedback themselves :) - with parental permission, of course.)

Adrian | 7 comments I am looking for children aged 8-12

Adrian | 7 comments But I would recommend that they read it with their parents because of the slight violence in the book and their parents could give more constructive and clear feedback based on the child/children's reaction.
