Sandra Givens I am so disappointed in writers who do not know the difference between "take" and "bring". Over and over I see writers using a form of "bring" when it should be "take". Take is going away while bring is coming toward. So, it should never be "I brought him to the store." -- 'I TOOK HIM to the store". GRAMMAR and PROPER WORD usage are critical for writers.
