Stacey,I would say yes to a sheep rancher being a farmer. I'm from the midwest originally and had friends whose fathers referred to themselves as cattle farmers. If others disagree we can take it to the mods.

James Heriott has some books with sheep on the cover. I wouldn't mind reading one of those again. The only problem is that it says people instead of a person. I wonder if there has to be more than one person?

That sounds good. I was also trying to look at the sheets on my phone which makes everything a little more challenging. :)
I went to claim Cerberus task 2, but Maddy, I see you already have a book finished that would work but it hasn't been transferred to the monster tab of the spreadsheet. Mine is good for a few other difficult tasks so I you should go ahead and claim it :D
I'll see if I can find something with sheep and people on the cover. Not hopeful but it's dead at work today. I can at least look. Sure there has to be at least one sheep related cozy out there.
well that actually turned out to be pretty easy: (unless there needs to be more than one person)
and now I have also a found a haunted yarn shop mystery series that I must add to my list.

I read about 30 pages xD I want to finish reading it but i've been so tired lately that i really haven't been able to :| but Sammy left a very good review on it, so it should be good.

Hello!Under extra books under 250 pgs, you have The Last Flight of Marius Chastain and A Kiss to Revive Me but they've both been used for monsters... Sphinx and Harpies respectively.

I was going to put short books there in case we needed to remove books. However we are not close to the monthly limit so it shouldn't be a problem. And i can always do a filter and take the small unused books like that. I deleted the tab since it was no longer needed.

Sorry about that. It's now on my read shelf and my TT shelf.
I also checked out a farmer book but I'll hold off on adding to the mini sheet until I finish the sheep cover book.
so i got The Living Dead which has 600 pages. But it is going to take me a while to read it, so if someone finds another one and can read it faster go for it.

Do you all think Where the Watermelons Grow would be considered a farmer book? The MC is a daughter in a farming family, and does some chores on the farm - or at least I assume she will?

Sorry I've been AWOL. So busy at work - bah! July should be a lot better for me. Anyway, finished another and put it on the spreadsheet. Doesn't look like we need it for the monster mini, but I'll check back when we get a new one. Should be finishing an audiobook soon as well.
I'm just over halfway through reading The Day the World Came to Town: 9/11 in Gander, Newfoundland. It's due back to my library tomorrow, so I will finish it today.I'm currently listening to Things We Lost to the Water, so that will be up next. The MC's husband does some farming, but looks like we've got those two spots covered. I'll see if it works for a new monster, once we've earned one.
I'll have my "farmer" book finished today so I added it to the MC sheet. Then the first Polyphemus monster can be claimed.
So it looks like we still another "sheep with people" cover book?
I haven't got as far with It as I would have liked. I've been very tired and time has just flown by. I'll do my best to finish it over the weekend. Then I will focus on the BOMs I have as their deadlines are fast approaching.

I found this and checked it out. But I'm not dying to read it and It only covers "sheep with people". I will read it no one else comes up with something. 
I have started answering some questions for the BOM for Witch's Heart. I did 2 days so far and I'll get a couple more tomorrow and do a post with links here.
Oh and I finished Coming up Roses for T50. So we can claim one of the Polyphemus monsters.
So from my snooping.... there's not a lot out there with sheep/people and farmers that the other teams have found. But if anyone has Scribd, there are 2 options: Animal Camp: Lessons in Love and Hope from Rescued Farm Animals (200ish pages)
Tales From the Farm by the Yorkshire Shepherdess (100ish pages)
(I have had 2 unfortunate run-ins with Scribd and password issues, so I can't do it.)
I also found a couple of books that cover all 5 tasks for a few of the monsters in case we get them again.

Polyphemus (Cyclops)
Polyphemus has been seen on your lands, searching for a new optometrist. Maybe he can be pacified with a good recommendation for an in-network doctor. Very hard to kill but can be distracted with sheep. He loves his sheep. Also, might distract him by discussing what a complete dink Ulysses really is despite his fame.
To vanquish this monster you must:
1.) Read a book between 500 and 650 pages (inclusive).
2.) Read a book that takes place on an island.
3.) Read a book where a character engages in some sort of trickery (your interpretation).
4.) Read a book with sheep AND people on the cover.
5.) Read a book whose MC is a farmer.
Okay, I found one - 4 hours long.
It's on Libby - I can tackle this tomorrow!
Do we get the monsters from a randomizer? This seems like really bad luck.
