Morgan and Lance are strongly attracted to each other but he puts on the brakes to slow things down. Your thoughts about his decision, their relationship and romance?

They definitely need to move slowly and his decision was a good one. Both of them have lots and lots of baggage and employment that may end up being temporary. Lance made a very mature and responsible decision to move slowly with their relationship.

Yes, it does give the relationship every chance of being permanent moving forward. And again it's a six book series so getting them together in the first book wouldn't suit the building sexual tension or the narrative of seeing their relationship unfold.

I did like the ending when Morgan read her husband's letter and moved his picture to the girl's bedroom. And the realization that she would always love John but she could start a relationship with Lance.
