Police Chief Horner took the case from Stella Dane and rushed to judgment in focusing only on Nick. The district attorney dropped the case when Morgan presented evidence the police should have uncovered that raised reasonable doubt. Do you think Horner, who doesn’t seem to be respected by anyone, will face any backlash?

It was mentioned at the end that he could be the scapegoat and take all of the blame resulting in him being fired. It sounds like he is going to take most of the blame no matter what else happens.

I think by the end of the series Chief Horner will be gone. At best he is incompetent.. at worse he is covering up for important people in the town.
